I own the PAL PS2 version of Rayman M so I've never seen Dark Rayman. I have never been able to find any pictures or videos of him. Although I've seen Dark Globox but not Dark Rayman. Has no-one unlocked him or something?
Also is he just a skin for Rayman or a seperate character? And how can he be the main antagonist, Is there a story involving him or something?
Confused.

In Rayman 1, Mr. Dark send's him to kill Rayman. He copies his moves. You can find more information
here ^^

That's Bad Rayman
I think Dark Rayman only appears in Rayman Arena, but I'm not entirely sure because I own PS2 Rayman M, similarly to you.

Dark Rayman appears in Rayman Arena on Gamecube and Xbox only

I know that, that's why I'm asking about it. Also, I don't mean Bad Rayman clone in R1, read first post.

Since he's not in the PC version and there are no good emulators for Gamecube or Xbox, it's very hard to find a picture of Dark Rayman. I haven't seen him, but I've heard he has red, pupilless eyes and a red "X" on his front instead of Rayman's white "0". He's a skin of Rayman and has Rayman's theme music, but the game still says "Dark Rayman" when you select him, even though it's just a skin, not a character. Apparently, there's a "Master League" you can unlock by finishing everything in Rayman Arena, and Dark Rayman is your opponent in all of the challenges. I think the game doesn't save until you finish all the Master League levels, so you have to finish them all in one go to complete the game 100% and unlock the Dark Rayman skin.

Dark Rayman is only available in the XBox version of Rayman Arena, as far as I know. He must not be mistaken for Bad Rayman from the first game, even though he is called Dark Rayman in Rayman Advance, which is rather confusing.

He is also called Dark Rayman.

I think the RM Dark Rayman is inspired by R1 Dark Rayman (alias Bad Rayman).
And yeah, i'd like to see a picture of him too.

He's called Dark Rayman in Rayman Advance? How? In the manual...?
Anyway, I've always considered them to be the same being.

There was an old RaymanZone avatar of Dark Rayman I believe, and he looks completely different to Bad Rayman. That is, if we say Dark Rayman is different.

If they're different then that means there are three Raymen, and two of them are evil versions of the original.
And what part of Rayman Advance calls him "Dark Rayman"?

Somewhere in Candy Chateau.

At the start of the second stage there is floating text that says "BEWARE OF DARK RAYMAN!"

I find it hard to believe that there's two different characters called "Dark Rayman".

There isn't. It was just a mistake.

I think that calling him "Bad Rayman" is a mistake.

What fans think doesn't matter much when it comes to the fact that he was called Bad Rayman first in the games.

Where did the name "Bad Rayman" come from, anyway? I've never seen it in any official material.

Rayman Designer and Rayman Junior, as far as I know. I also vaguely remember something about it in the Rayman 1 manual but I'm not sure at all.

If he was called Dark Rayman in the original name that would be his official name.
