Generally honest.

There needs to be a "Kinda" option.

I try as hard as I can to be honest. But sometimes I can't find it in my heart to tell someone the truth.

It's a difficult question to answer because personally, it totally depends on the occasion. Generally, I like to consider myself a fairly honest and upfront kind of guy, and I try to maintain this attribute in most circumstances. However, if I feel a strong need to be dishonest about something, I don't have any problems in (temporarily) dropping this trait - mostly I prefer to call such fibs "white lies", meaning it's made for a very good reason. When I'm dishonest, it's mostly because of politeness; I mean, I wouldn't want to be discourteous when someone asks me "do I look good in this dress?". So yeah, sometimes I do lie but really it depends entirely on the situation I'm in As I said before, generally I'm an honest, upfront person.

I'm so honest I don't even tell white lies. Somehow I always get away with it.

I'm honest :] but there are times were i'm dishonest.

I am always honest. Though I don't really want to be. I just feel uncomfortable when deliberately misleading people.

Though when people ask me stuff like "How are you?" etc. I always say "Fine", whether or not it's true.

The only time I'm dishonest is if I'm in a particularly sticky situation, and I can think of an excellent, air-tight explanation (excuse, really). I used to be great at that at school. Trouble is, it's much harder to come up with 'explanations' if it doesn't involve homework, which it hasn't for quite some years, so I don't lie often. I can't fool people with ridiculous untruths, can I? Sometimes I'm forced to plan things instead of think spontaniously.

But in most situations, I'm completely honest.

Either i'm honest, or else i just shut up. Well, except when i'm joking.
I pick to first option of the same reason as the other who picked it: To look like a good person.

Hmm...I just thought of it--honest people will vote "Honest", though wouldn't most dishonest people still vote "Honest", given that they're dishonest? (Hehe) I'll generally be honest, though as a very effective planner I also have a tendency to cleverly-craft half-truths when trying to convince of something, and I'll always leave an out for myself. (Usually stuff like one brand over another, mostly because of my own OCPD...)

Yeah, I'm pretty honest but I have a way of not telling the whole truth when it suits me.

If you say "I am not honest", and you mean it, then you are honest.

Even though I'm always honest with my friends and my family, I think I am rather dishonest in general. Good guys never win

Mostly honest. But really, there's no one who's 100% honest. There are simply situations that occur to you in which it's just plain stupid if you're honest.

Wife: "Darling, do you think my ass looks big?"

Husband: "A little. But the worst thing is, that it's so terribly pale."
