I heard the news earlier. Spyro looks hideous in it, and the toys that connect up to the game sound like one of the stupidest gimmicks ever.

Oh god I just looked at it. To say I shat bricks would be an understatement, Spyro looks like some kids attempt to make Spyro on Spore. And don't know what's up with the toy things but I lol'd at how they look better than Spyro.

OMG Spyro looks like a devilish thing. I've never even played Spyro and I'm angry.

Still, I think it'll be a better direction than Legend of Spyro.

Ugh, another continuity reboot?

*reads article*

Good God Spyro, what have they done to you?! :waaahhh: No sign of poor Sparx anywhere. This looks to be an even more radical departure than the Legend series.

I'd probably get it if it weren't so damn expensive. The game itself looks beautiful, and I guess it could have some decent platforming. But it just looks so weird and the toy thing sounds like it would bog the game down. Well, we'll see.

Do you have short-term memory loss or something? You must have told us that a dozen times already, and you show no signs of stopping.

I love how out-of-place Spyro looks with the other characters. Anyone else think Trigger Happy looks like Stimpy?

To be honest, I hate seeing people whining about this game already. I'm not too fond of it either but all this complaining just does my nut in. At least it's more Spyro than the Legend Of Spyro trilogy, which was dull and pretty much the complete opposite of what the original Spyro was all about.

I think everyone is mad because this doesn't even attempt to be a Spyro game. It's a gimmicky new game that the developers inserted Spyro into to increase sales. If Spyro was removed from the game, it would most likely not make a difference. At least the Legend series incorporated elements from the old games (Avalar, Hunter), even if the games themselves were outlandish.

No, this game does have connections with Spyro. I've seen some gameplay, we've already seen there's the classic elements like sheep, vases, gems, the trademark castle spires and even those platform turtles are a throwback to Sunny Beach in Spyro 2. That's already more than TLoS ever did. Having that lynx called Hunter and Avalar being a small valley, rather than the massive world it was in the originals, doesn't even count, since they were only called that in a lame attempt to try and make it look like a Spyro game.
