I beat you to that one, Spiral.

It's called "AIDS", not "Aids". You'll have to time-travel back and change your post again if you really want to beat me to it.

What's wrong? Have we gone past the time loop? If so, you can't change it. Until the next one happens and you might be able to go back...

It's more of an objection to gay sex than it is to homosexuality in general

I believe 'gay sex' is a hyponym for 'homosexuality', so the two words are different.

They are very closely connected, and it is difficult to have one without the other.

In what way?
The point is being a gay doesn't necessarily equate to having sex and getting AIDs by doing so. I'll have to admit I find the notion of it all rather sickening, but it doesn't mean I disrespect gays as a result.

Gay sex isn't the only cause of AIDS though, in fact it happens more often in heterosexual relationships. Another major cause is drug sharing - not so much heroin addicts, but rather hospitals in Eastern Europe that can only afford to use the same needle for about 20 children.
I read somewhere, that a lot of African men rape women because they think that it cures them of their AIDS, but in reality it makes the problem worse, that's why it's so rife in many African countries.
In all fairness though if one's doing it in the butt they should be wearing a condom, as with casual sex in general.

As Stacey said, AIDS is not linked at all to homosexuality.

I used to actually think this

That is true. That they rape women because they believe it cures AIDS, not that it cures it... They believe raping a virgin will cure them, but it only spreads it. But as a result they even rape little girls as young as toddlers, to make sure she's actually a virgin.

That's disgusting, and they're due to show all that stuff again on Comic Relief next month.

If they are willing to rape toddlers to cure their AIDS then they deserve to have AIDS.

No one should have aids. No one. Maybe people deserve it, but when one has it he can spread it. There is no way to know if someone has aids or not.
If one that according to you deserves aids has aids and - for example - rapes a women, than the virus would only spread. Maybe they deserve it, but the woman being raped doesn't.

Obviously it would spread, it's a disease.
