Playing as Reflux would be pretty cool to XD

Yes, but you never do that. But you play as Razoff in a mini game on Rayman 3! ;)

But that's not a cheat.

That would be so epic, seriously. :D

What CheatCat means is that playing as Razoff is coded in the game, not playing as Reflux.

I don't see the point in cheating. It leads to nothingness.

Though those powerup hybrids did look pretty neat.

But you cannot jump with Razoff, but maybe use him in battles. I think you also should be able to play as a hoodbomber, but he can only run in circles... xD

By the way, I have just found the address of the current score: 054E0BE0. I can't find the address of the combo score though.

Also:
16777216 = 224
33554432 = 2 × 224
50331648 = 3 × 224
67108864 = 4 × 224
83886080 = 5 × 224

I guess there's something to understand.

I think these might be a help for me in DOTK. If we could let the lockjaw can rest a little longer, we wouldn't need the knaaren glitch.

No cheating to improve scores.

Cheat to find secret rooms instead.

I share spiraldoor's view, although I'd feel slightly bad about cheating to find a secret room, too.

But there we go.

If there was a hidden way to get into a secret room without cheats, then I'd feel sort of bad. But if there's no way to access a room without cheats, then I don't think I'd lose any sleep over it.

In Shadow of the Colossus, there are things hidden behind mountains which can only be seen by hacking. Things like unused beta mountains. And a dam.

I don't think any such area exists in Rayman 3, but I am curious as to whether smaller port rooms exist. Ones that could contain a powerup, for example. Or a few gems. Maybe there's one of these in TDOTK part 3.

If anyone's willing to explore the area then I'd be more than happy. I was planning to have a nosey after I finish TFC actually.

By the way, that stuff in SotC I mentioned was only discovered a couple of weeks ago.

See? Hidden things can be found after several years.

I see, it's something magical with the values! :D

I think I got it! It is probably not
02750515.l
but
(02750515 magic value+3 bytes).b.

In other words, it means changing one byte instead of four! Did you understand?

Probably not. Let's start again.

x86 processor is little-endian. This means, doesn't read bytes like we the Europeans do with digits. So, when we write "1000" for thousand, little-endian human would write "0001". Got it? Let's continue.

Now you see, the 02750515 contains (theory) something like 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x??, where:
0x00 - 0, so Vortex
0x01 - 1, so Helicopter
etc. They're simply numbered!

On 68k or PPC processor, it would be easier to see, as they're big endian, so they would read 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x01 as 1, not as 2^24.
