Rayman Pirate-Community

Since this is a pirate community, I thought maybe there would be a download, but I can't find any. Is there a download for Rayman Gold here? Or, is there anywhere else I can get it?

Also, would Rayman Gold, or Rayman Forever work with Windows Vista? I was going to just buy the game, but I'm afraid it won't work with my PC, and I don't want to waste the money.

Oh, and does anyone know where I can get the songs from Rayman 1 in MIDI format? I really wanted to learn to play them on my keyboard, but I need the MIDI versions to do so. So far, I could only get 3 of them. But I was really glad to find out that they were my 3 favorites!!! ( Or pretty close. ) I have the one that Raytunes calls "Sliding all the way down", ( That's my favorite! ) The one from Candy Chateau, and the one from the Mr. Skops boss battle.

I guess that's what I get for trying to block out all the Rayman games except the first! I wish I could just put my PS game in my computer and play it!

You can put your PS game in your computer and play it actually. It's called a PSOne emulator.

Yeah I know, it sucks that there aren't many MIDIs but I can build some if you like. Someday I hope to translate the whole soundtrack.

There's a patch that lets you play Rayman Gold on XP and Vista.

Try that. I downloaded a patch from that site once to fix a bug in Rayman 2 and it worked.

Uhm... DOSBox rings a bell ? That patch only makes shortcuts in your start menu by the way, you'll need DOSBox or an other DOS emulator.

I'd recommend DOSBox, learn to use it, and you can play any old game pre Win 95 or with a DOS version. So you can buy safely as long as you understand how to use DOSBox. It's mostly like any other emulator out there for console systems, just a tad bit more complicated.

I can't confirm if Rayman Gold has a complete version of Rayman, but I can confirm Rayman Forever is missing songs, as well as stupidly missing the intro and ending movies. The only good thing about Rayman Forever is it is the only way to get Rayman by his Fans (60 extra fan levels) in English, although most of the levels just suck.

I think Rayman Gold comes with the 24 Levels available with the Level Maker made by the designers, which is well worth it, but again, someone with a copy should make sure it has all the songs and intro and ending movies. Or you can find an ISO and check, the movies are labeled as such somewhere in the game folder.

On Rayman Forever there are audio cut on Rayman 1, Designer, and by his Fans. There's a patch for Rayman Gold, Designer, and 1. There are few audio cuts in Rayman Gold. You can play the games with DOSBox but it's hard to figure out how to do.

I love Rayman Gold. I play it more than most games and I think my levels are really good. BTW, I've seen some great levels on youtube. Did they use an emulator to get good quality?

Can someone give me a No Cd patch for Rayman gold? i downloaded R gold at the patches that dingodile gave me!!
