Here can we talk about Rayman and his world!
I think it is a really interesting world for me.
With all the red lums and the big plums. In my opinion are the 2 monns, wich we can see ich Rayman 3 for the PS2, so wounderfull. All Ithink in this world I would life like Rayman and his friends.
And how do you think about Rayman's world?

That's what it looks like.
We've established that the valley in which the events of Rayman 1 take place are also somewhere on that map, and it's very likely that the Rayman 3 locations are on there too. And the Rayman M ones, if you consider them as existent.

Ah, but I have a question (it could be very crazy for you): I understand your message like this: that there are the places of Rayman 3 too in this map! Yes or no?
I like all the tree game wich you have named!

That's a fan-made map, though.
And yes, it's made quite clear by the presence of the Heart of the World, the Teensies, Murfy, Rayman, Globox, Zombie Chickens, evidence of Robo-Pirate construction material being recycled by Hoodlums, etc., that Rayman 3
DID take place in the Glade of Dreams.
As for my theory that the Rayman 1 valley is in the top left corner of the Glade...I've re-examined the R1 map and intro, and it seems impossible.
My new theory is that the Archipelago is the land if the limbless, which makes more sense from an evolutionary point of view. Let's just say that the largest island in the bottom-left corner of the map is where the R1 locations are.
~The Heart of the World is probably near the Fairy Glade, Clearleaf Forest is probably near the Woods of Light, the Bod of Murk is probably near the Marshes of Awakening, the Land of the Livid Dead is probably somewhere along the coast, the Desert of the Knaaren is probably somewhere between the Sanctuary of Water and Ice and the Tomb of the Ancients, the Longest Shortcut is probably near the Fairy Glade or the Woods of Light, and the Summit Beyond the Clouds, the Hoodlum Headquarters and the Tower of the Leptys are probably near the Iron Mountains.

That's all speculation though.

I don't think they actually link - The I think pink theing above B in the second map is part of picture city.

But look at the totem pole in the right image - it's in a completely different place to where it is on the map.
My current theory is that the map is seen from a bunch of different angles at once. Remember, we only see a tiny part of the map at any given time in-game. The fish-eye-like lens of Mr Dark's binoculars may have distorted the image, too.
And the map is clearly not to scale - look at the size of Eat At Joe's.
*sigh*
So confusing

Hmmm. This map from R2 shows a world in PC/PS1 version, not in Revolution version. Does someone can create a map, that includes changes made-up in Revolution (with ALL levels and places)? And also a different map, which shows a world under R3 vision? I wish to create my own map, which will combine parts from Rayman 1-3, but first I need something, which will show me how can I do it. This fan-made map is not bad, but I want to be pretty sure I'll don't ruin anything.

What do you mean by that?
Anyways, I support spiraldoor's theory.

Take a look at Celoche's eyes and you'll see what I mean.

I don't think Ubisoft considered land positioning and such when creating these two maps. We've got to remember this is a game we're talking about, not a geographical atlas.
About the pirate-Hoodlum thing... I also noticed the Spinneroo's defeat noise matches the noise that sounds when an orange pirate is defeated in Rayman 2.

Do you have an image?? I cant remember what his eyes were like, and I can't find images or videos of Celoche anywhere.

Are you talking about that 'CLANG!' noise? Because that 'CLANG!' noise is also heard when you punch Space Mama in the head, and when the metal barrels in Electric Final fall and break.

Yes, that was what I meant. I wasn't aware it appeared in other Rayman games too though.

What about his eyes? I dont see the connection that you do.
Cool that a sound effect has been used in all 4 major games.

The eyes look exactly like the windows found in the pirates' fortresses in R2.
