Attention wiki editors - the new version of the front page is now live, and is still in beta mode. If you have any suggestions on what should be featured in the shown areas, please don't hesitate to drop them in this thread. Things like featured articles, quotes, good new articles etc will be changed periodically, so choose carefully!

Alright then, let's elaborate on the different sections of the front page. Please note that the page is strictly for admins and sysops like myself to edit.

Featured Article
Obviously, this is where only the best, most informative and well present articles get a spotlight on the front page for a short while.

Featured Image
Same as above, but with images. It should be taken to account that said image must be high quality, but not like, humongous in file size and resolution.

Things to do
This section is a list of specific tasks that are at the moment of high priority, and therefore it's greatly encouraged to get these done first.

News of the Rayman world
Lame pun I know, but the content is what counts. Obviously, this is a section for any news relating to Rayman and the Rabbids that crops up. If you see some news yourselves that you'd like us to add, please provide a reasonable source!

Did You Know...
Easy one, this is a list of fascinating Rayman and related facts.

Good new articles
This section is a list of recently made articles that follow the standards of a good article. It is not exactly the same as featured articles, which are only the best ones as I described earlier.

Articles that Need Help
This is not exactly a list of bad articles, but ones that need some help in making them much better. As related things are uncovered, new games come out, even the most well written articles will need it.

Maybe a featured image. We have some nice pictures at RayWiki now

Adding that right now. I may also put a list of new articles that are good and another of others that well, need help.

I think another logo for the title section may be in order too, as that current pic is a placeholder.

Could the logo be made out of this image?

Might be old but I think that looks way better, we just need to change the text.

Maybe Jman still has the PSD file. By the way, what do you think about the spiral door icon I created for the hub levels in Revolution?

I don't think it would look really good.

This is what I mean. Notice the way Rayman's hair perfectly fits the curve of the bubble. And the way his hand is sort of above the text. And the baby Globox cowering to the left behind him, and the defeated pirate on the ground to the right. And the determined look in his eyes...

I think my image would look great if someone who's actually good at editing images tried to make it it.

I agree with Spiraldoor's idea. That would look really cool if someone made a proper logo with it like that.

If logo 2 is going to be chosen, then I think Rayman's face needs to be a bit closer, plus we'll need to find a higher quality copy of it [something I should have somewhere]. But overall I just like the other one better.

Personally I prefer Spiral's image.

@Someone who has Photoshop: Apply some filters or something to it to make it look more like a bubble, then put the text on it. And shrink it a bit, I suppose.

It looks alright but I don't like how you've cut half of Rayman's shoe off. Also it looks like there's a tarantula trying to crawl on scene!

I personally prefer Jman's logo, which looks much more serious than a random picture with some text.

Getting the rest of Rayman's shoe in would require making the image egg-shaped >_>

About the logo, I prefer Jman's logo as well, but yeah, well... here's my own try at a logo.

It was quite nice, until I realized that the wiki logo should be square, and that the background of Raywiki isn't white, and it doesn't go well on any other background color.
