Rayman Pirate-Community

First, Right Click the "Rayman3" Shortcut and go to Properties. Click on the "Shortcut Tab" and in Short Cut click "Open File Location" In This Folder Right Click on the "Rayman3.exe" And go to Properties again. In this properties menu Click on the "Compatibility" Tab. In this menu Look at the bottom of the window and Check the box "Run this Program as Administrator." Now Click OK
Go to C:\WINDOWS\UbiSoft. In here there should be the file "Ubi.ini" You can open it in Notepad. In the file, At the top Look for this statement:
Replace the XXXX x XXXX with your res. Check your res by Right clicking on the desktop, going to personalize (Properties on XP), and "change resolution" (XP is "settings". It even works with widescreen! But in widescreen the menus and stuff in them will have a strange offset. Don't worry, it's still easy to read. For example I set mine to a 16:9 res on my screen:

This would be very usefull for Cheat engine scans, if this would only work for Rayman 2.....

Then we don't have to press cntrl+alt+delete to open cheat engine and scan the game.

First of all, Ctrl+Alt+Delete isn't the best way to do that. Secondly, the game runs full-screen, no matter what resolution you have.

I know i can use hotkey's, but i didn't know it would stay fullscreen.
I always use cntrl+alt+delete.

Press Alt+Tab to switch out of a fullscreen app. It works instantly. But I still don't get your logic on why dfferent resolutions would somehow help your scans

Also, I added 32x Q anti-aliasing to Rayman 3! (I wouldn't recommend doing that if you don't have at least a 9800 or a 4850). I did it by right-clicking on the desktop and going to nVidia control panel >> Manage 3D settings >> Program Settings >> Add >> [locate Rayman3.exe] >> [Use the settings below]

If the R3 screen is smaller, then i could open the Cheat engine window next to it, so i could scan and play at the same time.

Yeah, but lowering or raising the res doesn't make the R3 screen smaller unless it's actually in a window.

Nah, playing R3 in windowed mode isn't impossible to do. I remember doing that, I think, but I don't know how.
I know for sure that I managed to get RRR in windowed mode though.
