Yeah on a lot of these I ended up picking slightly more socialist options than I support simply because they're such ambiguous general questions where it almost comes down to just going "are you a socialist or capitalist?", but most of my views fall somewhere inbetween.
These questions are more interested in your identity and labels than it is about actual policy, like if asking people what healthcare system they support by going "Trumpcare, Single-Payer or Obamacare?" Looking at the actual polls done on that topic, that questions yields wildly different results than asking "Describe how your ideal healthcare system should work."
rrrrrrrresults:
we're going to end the wars, fight climate change and put everyone on a living wage and protect internet and take not no for answer, yeah!

Right, I've added you to the combined compass. Took me a while to find the file!

Would it be possible to create some sort of bot that could detect a member's placement from their image and then add it to the main image?

In principle yes, although I wouldn't personally be too sure how to go about doing that.

Looks like I've drifted back towards the centre, albeit still slightly further away from it than I was ten years ago:
I only bothered answering "strongly" to a couple of questions, so I'm surprised I'm even that far out!

Looks like I'm not too far from the centre.

This is not exactly what I expected, though I'm satisfied with the result either way.

2017: -3.0; -5.13
Now: -2.63; -5.49
Not much has changed, but this is the first time I've noticed I really disliked most of the questions. I think I'd prefer some more detailed scenarios over these vague "all or nothing" statements.

Yeah, I think some of my answers are basically the opposite of what I think about the situations currently ongoing in my midst, since they're so abstract. I guess that's why I tended not to bother with "strongly" on anything.

Same.
But I am rather more on the right side of the compass than it actually shows and probably more liberal.

I decided to take a shot at this test and these are the results that it gave me:

Alright, now I retook the quiz because I realised I actually hadn't answered honestly for a couple of questions because some of them didn't make sense to me at first but here's where I am now.
I'm in Gandhi Land!
It definitely felt wrong to be in Stalin Land when I took the quiz first, but now that I knew what all the questions were asking, I can definitely feel that it's a lot more accurate now because I feel like I'm way more of a libertarian than an authoritarian.

Personally I'm for
totalitarianism.
If you want to give it a shot too here's the
political compass quiz I passed.

I decided to give it a try. There are a lot of questions, but here's what I got:

Interestingly it's saying I'm neutral when it comes to democracy, though I don't feel like much of a democrat.
EDIT: I took another try at the political compass too, but the result isn't much different from the first test:
