Ok guys, I want as many people to participate in this as possible.
The game is Mafia. It's a game of trust and deception between an uninformed majority and an informed minority. Here's how it works, but don't worry if you don't quite understand, it'll most likely make sense as you start playing.
Firstly, everyone who wants to play signs up.
Then I send the Role PMs to all players. The Role PM will explain who you are in the game and what you can do, and how you can win.
Everyone will be on one of two teams:
The Mafia - These are the bad guys. They are trying to infiltrate a village of kindhearted people to take over it. They will know exactly who is on their team. However, they have a disadvantage in numbers.
The Village - These are the good guys, so to speak. Unfortunately, they will not know who their teammates are and will have no idea who to trust. Luckily, they have more members than the Mafia, giving them an advantage in that respect.
Once you know who you are, you will have to try and converse with everyone else to achieve your goals. The village will have to try and find out who they can trust, and who they should Lynch, while the Mafia are trying to trick the village into believing that they are actually good guys. You can contact other players by any means; publicly on the forums, over PM or even in real life if you can be bothered.
The Game is slpit up into a number of day and night periods which will be announced by the host (in this case me). During the night, the Mafia collaborate and decide on a villager to kill. Also, some people can use abilities at night - this will be explained in your role PM.
During the day, a public Lynch is held. Every living user votes on another user, and whoever gets the most votes is killed and removed from the game. Ideally, this is when the village strikes back - having the advantage in terms of numbers they can vote on whoever they think is acting suspiciously and hopefully Lynch a mafia member. Alternatively, if they are unsure of who to ynch, they can vote "No Lynch".
In short, the Village kills by day and the Mafia kills by night. The teams win by eliminating the opposing team.
Dead players are no longer allowed to contact other players in regards to teh game. Anything you know at your time of death stays with you forever, unless you already told someone.
The game begins on Night 0. No killing can occur on night 0 but other abilities may be used.
If you have any questions, just ask me in this trhead, but I think it'll make more sense as it goes.
Remember, I want as many players as possible! The more the merrier, more players makes the game more interesting. This is going to be a simple game with basic roles, but if lots of people participate, I will probably host more games in future with various themes and more complex roles etc to make the game more fun, SO GET INVOLVED!

Maybe you could make the first post more straight-forward; I had to read it several times to get my head round the gameplay.

I can't really think of a simpler way to put it.
You don't really need to undersxtand it though, it makes sense once you start playing. I didn't really understand it when I first played it, but I got it pretty quickly. Besides, most other people here are new at it too.
