I just noticed something today while watching The Simpsons. During the credits as I was going to turn the TV off, the name "Danny Elfman" caught my eye. I rewound (I have satellite lol ) to the words and it said "Theme: Danny Elfman". I noticed right away it was the same author as the Rayman 3 soundtrack! Funny to think the Rayman 3 soundtrack was written by the same person who wrote The Simpsons' theme.

...Or was part of it I guess.

Danny Elfman didn't make the Rayman 3 soundtrack. I suppose that's what you think because Danny Elfman made the theme from Edward Scissorhands ( which was strangely enough included on the R3 disc ), but I think that was used without his permission. I can't remember who made the music though, but it wasn't Danny Elfman, that's for sure.

It was a large group of people working together, just like the R1 soundtrack. Danny Elfman is good, though.

The track Droolie mentioned was included in the disc, but isn't played in the game. Therefore, it's obviously not part of the soundtrack.

Is that track treated the same way as the normal ones on the disc?

It's in the same format, if that's what you mean.

You could rename it to a filename which they use in the game... then you have different rayman 3 music lol reflux theme in the fairy council XD

man, I never thought of that, what format is the R3 music saved as, and where is it stored?Think of what you could do... Imagine Heavy metal music in TLOTLD XD

I didn't have a precise meaning... I was just wondering if it was in any way 'special', or if it sort of 'stood out' amongst the other tracks in any way.

Also, the Rayman 3 soundtrack was written by Plume, Fred Leonard and Laurent Parisi, but I've never heard anyone here so much as mention them.

Well as of then I've bought eight of his soundtracks, which include the Edward Scissorhands and Alice in Wonderland ST's, because I love his soundtracks so much. $60 well spent.
