"Barbarous pirates", not "Barbera's pirates".

Anybody noticed the 'cheat' letters above the screen?
And I can't locate the part with the pirate shooting bombs also: defeat 'barbers' pirates?

I'm pretty damn sure there were bomb shooting pirates in the Dreamcast version.

Gameloft used the Dreamcast version as the foundation for this one; you can tell if you look closely. Bomb-shooting pirates, mosquitos in the Marshes of Awakening, and the tags include the word 'Dreamcast'.
Don't be surprised if you find the Isle of Doors in this version.

Well, Razorbeard's French name is Barbe-Tranchante but here's what they really mean.
On the record Rayman can grow a beard actually haha

Well, shame on me. I'm dutch but since Razorbeard was called Barbe Tranchante in french it might be possible they call him Barber here

Oh, then they should've said "the barbarous pirates", not simply "barbarous pirates".
And the next time a gaming company tries to convince us that "Rayman is back" I'm going to expect a port.

It just makes you wonder what Gameloft and or Ubi Soft would come out next for Rayman. We had like three remakes of Rayman 1 and 2 in the last three months come out.

I love how the announcer calls Rayman "world-famous" when modern gamers have no idea who he is.

Not really. We have yet to see a proper 'remake' of any Rayman game. These are all down-ports...
