Well i dont know if someone had already made this,but i think it would be cool to do this:

Rayman 2 Time Attack Competitions!

Ok,let me explain:

Requeriments:
-A screen recording program
-Some cronometer or something to see the time that has passed. (Or just calculate and put the final time in the end of the video)
-YouTube account or another video site to upload the video

Basics:
Go as fast as you can in a stage of the game,every damage taken will result in +2 seconds in the final time,a death will count in +7,example:
My final time in Iron mountains: 9:00 Minutes,damage taken 5 times,and i died 1 time, so my final time it's 9:17.
It's not neccesary to get the lums or break cages,that will not give you any advantage.

Rules:
-Do not edit the video to make it more fast,that will result in you being disqualified.
-You can edit the loading screens (getting them out of the video) because in other computers it may load slow.
-Do not edit cutscenes,just try to skip them as fast as you can.
-If you won the first stage,you will not be able to comp in the other one.
-One stage per week.
-If you win the entire season (most of the stages in the game) (Including bosses) the prize will be....Well i haven't thinked of one.

I don't know if the mods will let me do this competition,but if they do,the first stage it's:

I'm assuming this is The Great Escape on the N64/Dreamcast/PC, am I correct?

Why add time for a death if it generally adds time anyway? That is, except for some cases where you can jump ahead by pulling a green lum into you and dying, when you're below a high ledge, but that's beside the point.

Do you have to start without having the level played or is it allowed to use a 100% game (and power fist)?

This sounds kinda like that old contest from Rayman 3 when it was released. You had to make a screenshot of 3 different objects, one being the eiffel tower made of crates in Hoodlum Headquarters, and post them. You had to try and be the fastest.

I like this idea. If I can get my livestream to work with games, I would try and do it. We should also feature Rayman 3, I think.

I'd love to compete, but my rayman 2 game has weird laggy controls. A crackling sound will replace all the normal sound effects, and my button inputs happen 2-14 seconds after I press them.

I could use my epic hindsight skills to compete, but I'd only do a few levels, not the whole game, as most of the levels won't load for me (I have terrible scratches all throughout my Rayman 2 disc...makes me mad, as it was entirely other peoples mistreating of the disc that caused this).

phj,to answer your question,you gotta use a 0% complete game,not the full game because doing that should be unfair.
aaaand...Phoenixan,this it's for testing your skills.

I also have to say that when you have already submitted your speed run,you can't submit another.

N64 version is exactly the same.

I would say:

Allow only PC and N64 versions.

That wasn't my speedrun. That was just someone elses that I thought we should all see, as it shows some good tricks.
