Rayman Cheats and Hidden Facts

Hi, I'm new here, so keep steady with me on my english. It's good most of the time, but I make a few mistakes now and then. By the way, I've studied this website for a while and know some of the topics. I came across it while searching for remixed Rayman music. If there's any information I missed, PM me!

Enough about me, over the years(since I was 6) I've found various(but maybe noticable) secrets, cheats, and facts about Rayman. I want to share them here. I have been building my collection of Rayman games and the systems that support the series since I was twelve. I had no idea Rayman was a major series since age 11. If you have any cheats, secrets, and facts, that are well known or not, post them here. This includes the systems that support Rayman.(Don't stray to far away from Rayman, though.) Please don't continuously repost them, that gives everybody a headache. I don't know about RRR cheats(excluding the DS and GBA versions.) Just go on ahead.

Be aware I won't remember everything I've learned.
Here is what I know:

1. Rayman(PS1 and Sega Saturn) discs can be played on other CD players of other systems. I don't know about R1 on the PS1 but, R1 on the sega saturn can be played as an audio disc itself. The same thing goes for Rayman Brain Games(Junior) and R2.

2. R2 for the S. Dreamcast has track that says it can be only played on the S. Dreamcast. :?

3. Here are two cheats for R1 on the Sega Saturn.
10 Continues
Press once up, down, right, left at the continue screen. Works only if you have less than 3 continues left.

20 Lives
Pause the game, press and release: A, right+B, left/down+R Button, Y+C+Z. Leave the pause mode and you should have 20 lives if it was done correctly.
4. I don't know what use this would be, but to soft reset your Sega Saturn, press A+B+C+Start. Once to restart your game and twice to go to the audio CD menu.(I know I'm a huge fan of Sega.)

Post as many cheats as you can.

Welcome back Rayman9930. :P

The PS1 disc of Rayman 1 can be played as music as well but I only tried it on the actual consoles and on PCs. They can be ripped to MP3s too.

Well here are some obvious cheats for Rayman Gold. They were put into all games after R1, but before R2. They should work for the educational Rayman games as well.
In the codes below, TAB means press the tab key. BS means press the backspace key.

TAB openall BS In the start screen where you select the level to play, this code gives you access to all four levels in the world that were created by Ubi Soft. It changes all of the level names to red so that you can play them in any order.

TAB points Restores 5 energy points

TAB goldens Golden fist

TAB lives05 BS 5 lives

TAB lives20 BS 20 lives

TAB lives50 BS 50 lives

TAB moveray BS Stuck making a hard jump? This cheat code helps get through some of the tough spots in the new levels. It freezes Rayman and the action on the screen. You can then move Rayman around the level using the ARROW keys. When you want to restart the game, press TAB moveray BS again. Just realize that when you move Rayman you may skip some part of the level that is critical for you to continue, such as a Gendoor.

TAB map BS Display the map number at the top of the screen. (Not that this seems very useful to us???)

TAB finishing BS Win the current level. The "Esc" key does the same thing since by using a cheat code the timer is disabled.
Anybody got any cheats I don't know about?

This is for Rayman 2(PC). I heard someone once got it working for the Linux.
Cheat mode:
Press [Esc] to display the menu, then enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function.

Effect Code
Increased fire power glowfist
full health gimmelife
5 additional lums gimmelums
All power-ups globoxrules

Level select:
Press [Esc] to display the menu, then type gothere. The name of a level will appear at the top of the screen. Press [Up] or [Down] to choose a new level.
Orcael87.
I remember not trying these not to long ago.

The N64 version; we all should know this.
Nemesis mini-game:
Successfully complete the game and wait for the ending sequence to begin. Quickly and repeatedly press A + B. A message will confirm correct code entry. In Nemesis, you are an "E" that can shoot. There are enemies that are "X"s that can also shoot, and a Boss "O" that can shoot in any direction.
Get this, I don't know how this occurs, but on the crow's nest the lum's count will say 41/40. :?

Here's some for the Rayman Revolution that a lot of us already know about.
Cheat Menu
During Gameplay you can pause your game and then select Sound. Now Highlight the Mute Selection. Do not Validate, simply highlight it. Now, Press and hold:
L1 + R1

And enter:

L2, R2, L2, R2, L2, R2.

If you did it right you'll see a new menu pop up with cheat options. You can turn them on or off by highlight them an hitting the X button. If the cheat is Red, it is turned on. If it is Blue, it is turned off.

Extra Bonus Mini-Games
From the Press Start screen, press start. Now, select your language. Next, select Options. Then choose Language. Select Voices and Highlight Raymanian (DO NOT VALIDATE, JUST HIGHLIGHT). Now, press and hold:
L1 + R1

And enter:

L2, R2, L2, R2, L2, R2.

If you performed the code correctly you'll be taken imediately to a new menu where you can choose between three new mini-games.

Soccer Names
You will have to first enable the "Extra Bonus Mini-Games" cheat and select Baby Soccer. While you play this game you can press and hold:
L1 + R1

And Enter:

L2, R2, L2, R2, L2, R2.

Once you have entered the code the Globox who are playing soccer will have their names displayed above their heads while you play.
If anyone has any more, glitches, cheats, or secrets on this topic, post it here.

Maybe. I don't mess with emulators a lot. I just get any game in the series I like and get the system to support it. However, I have done research enough in my days to possibly do it. I heard of a computer camera called....Hypercam and I know where I can get R2(N64) Rom, I just need the "best" emulator there is for the N64. I do have a Youtube channel also. I never encountered that glitch.

I have, however, got that glitch where there are 2 of Rayman.

Doesn't this topic look like my Rayman glitches topic?
People are starting to post glitches here. :fou2:

I don't really know any Rayman cheats, except those who came with my rom.

Tap both the ‘A’ and ‘B’ buttons at the same time during the credits of the N64 version of Rayman 2. Some secret dedications come up.

I would love to post all the codes for Rayman 1(PSX), but it seems that on different versions, like PAL, there are codes. Plus not everybody here lives in the same area. So someone else will have to post them.
