Just a quick question, one that probably doesn't deserve a whole topic, but when Rayman Origins is released, or at least the first episode, will the soundtrack be uploaded to RayTunes?

I'll definitely try to rip it, but I can't promise anything.

I don’t think it’s possible to extract music from XBLA or PSN games. It might be best to wait for the PC version before even attempting it.

It's possible, actually, and I know how: there's a program called "Le Fluffie" that can extract content from XBLA games and there are convertors for XMA music ( the main xbox music format ) now. The problem is how to get the actual game, because XBLA games don't tend to appear on warez sites and all that, and I can't copy content from my own hard drive ( I don't have the necessary tools ).

Hope the soundtrack will be as good or better than the the one from the previous rayman games

There's going to be an iOS version, too, that might be easier to extract from.

We still must wait for the PC release in case that happens.

Well I can get hold of and extract XBLA games. This game may be rippable or may not depends whether Ubi use their interleaved XMA like on Splinter Cell Conviction or some other codec. Well you know Ubi and their codecs. If me and/or OrangeC get nothign with this score and you can't find the files I will send them to you guys. Great forum BTW.

The English word for "von" would be "of."

Sadly the only way to get the musics for now is to buy the Collector's Edition of Rayman Origins. I can tell you guys I like a lot certain musics of there, one of my favourites being the Final Showdown.

I beg to differ with this. I think topics for each game would be good to avoid duplicate topics.
