Obvious Solutions Chapter 1:
Milgragomin sat in the leisure room, sipping from a small bowl of nectar and reading. The metallic rods on the wall were charged with Light Energy, but were being drained and now cast shadows that were split and grey. A small insect buzzed around his head, and Milgragomin held his hand out. The insect buzzed around the hand for a moment, making sure it was safe to land on. Once it was sure, it entered through a small orifice on his wrist. Milgragomin could feel information spreading throughout his body. He began to interpret it. Something...a creature. A Wizarge.
No. It couldn't be. The Pioneers had been hunting for Thev for years now, but he always craftily avoided their grasp. Now Thev was here, hiding in the shelves, behind the nectar and books. But why? The nectar was of a cheap quality, and the books probably wouldn't sell on the market. A lump in his pocket reminded Milgragomin of the small stopwatch that he had in his possession. His most recent Vision had been bolted to it. Could it be that Thev was here to connect it to the Crossroads?
Milgragomin had to make a quick decision. If Thev got to the stopwatch, he would connect the Vision bolted to it to the Crossroads, and Thev would be out of their grasp once again. He could bolt the Vision to a different object, but any mistake would have catastrophic consequences. He could alert other Guards of the Pioneers...or he could attack and grab Thev right here, right now.
Suddenly, an origami like face was staring at him. Long arms drooped from the side of its snakelike head. It sat upon a photo of a rising sun, which itself was connected to an origami like tail. Milgragomin didn't have much time left to think.
