This idea was burried on my head for some time.

Long years ago there was a forum (a big one) that I frequented and it existed every year a kind of an awarding event to all the forum members (made by the adminstrators and moderators of the forum), which was having a bar on their profile, under their avatars and basic details, saying something like "Premium member". That award was given to every member that are honoured for things like:

- Have contributed to an evolution of the community and/or the forum itself

- Notable behaviour among the community

- Obidience to the forum's rules

- Active user

- Etc

Members who continued on the following years to keep these positive behaviours, would keep the bar, otherwise it would be taken out.

I wonder if this could be considered by the RPC moderators and admnistrators. I believe this could incentive the RPC members to contribute to a good atmosphere in the forum, preventing annoying things, and to the members contribute something more to help the forum grow and evolve positively.

I'm not sure there are enough active members on this forum for this. But there used to be a similar event on a forum I like and it was really nice.

Perhaps this could be discussed by other moderators and admnis, and reaching to a conclusion.

An alternative to the bar could be a different nickname colour (which means those members are integrated in a "Premium" [or any other name, maybe one related to Rayman's gaming universe] group).

I don't think the laureates should be granted anything, being chosen as a "Premium" is satisfying enough.

Are you saying that a different colour on the nicknames would be ok?

Perhaps a white colour?

That's another idea. But I guess the remaining mods and admins didn't check this yet.

That would be beyond awesome.

I think it would be a good idea if we had more active members, which I'm sure will come when Origins comes out.

Indeed. Besides we wouldn't be allowed pick the awesome mod colours for obvious reasons.

Policemen shouldn't carry guns anyway. No one should carry guns. We should all have a good spear on us, because out yonder, there be dragons. But let's stick to the point; not EVERYONE would get the coloured awesomeness, only the worthy people. The weak, slavish types can rot in their yellowy fonts.
