We all in our childhood saw cartoon shows and we had those cartoons that we really enjoyed. Who didn't had that moment of waking up early to tune on the TV just to watch them?

What were your favourite cartoon shows? And the ones you didn't like?

These two are among my most favourites:

I always thought that roadrunners do that wierd sound with thir tongue ever since I first watched this.

1:19: I never thought that was going to happen. Never.

2:12: Wile E Coyote: Furriest terrorist in the world.

3:13: 88mph!

Oh man I watched all sorts of cartoons when I was a kid and there's still a bunch I've yet to catch up on both old and new. Some of my childhood favourites included the Animals of Farthing Wood, Muppet Babies, Count Duckula and Superted

Picked up a DVD of this online from Germany and even for kids cartoon this had some rather nasty scenes like hedgehogs getting run over, mice being kebobed on thorns and shit.

As for cartoons I didn't like, I didn't like stuff like Goof Troop. If I ever watched anything with Goofy I preferred him with Mickey and Donald.

When I Iooked at the video, I thought it was the 'Animals of Farting Wood'.
OMG you watched Superted? I watched it once while I was in Wales. I read an annual of it because I was bored. I think I watched one Duckula episode.
I hate anything made by Disney. They ruined 'How to Train your Dragon'. :pascontent:

Wow, it somewhat reminds me Watership Down.

I actually remember that part with the mouse getting impaled on a thorn. Didn’t the mouse get dropped onto the thorns by an evil bird or something? It was so improbable that my child self found it quite entertaining...

Looney Tunes was the best cartoon back in the day. Daffy Duck was my favourite character. He was sympathetic but he was also a bastard. I always wanted his schemes to succeed...

I never really liked Tom & Jerry. There’s only so much you can do with two characters, and Jerry I always hated.

I've been looking for the name of this since forever, I loved this show.

Let's see....I grew up on Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Little Bear, Rupert, Noddy...but not all of those are cartoons. :P This should be "Old Shows" instead of cartoons.

I didn't like the disnaey adaptions of their movies, I liked Reccess though. :mryellow:

Too many to count.
I definitely remember Woody Woodpecker, the 'new' version. :mefiant: Dennis the Menace, Smurfs at one point, the Mummy spin-off series, Scooby-Doo, Yu-Gi-Oh, Flint the Time Detective and whole load of others that CiTV and CBBC rammed down our throats.
Oh, and of course, Veggietales. 8) Tedious moralising that's actually really, REALLY fun? AND random advice on the weirder aspects of life sung by a cucumber manchild? Oh, Phil Vischer, you genius. :D (His new puppetry series isn't so good, but probably because it's trying to teach the meaty Biblical details rather than Christian morals.)

Only Garfield cartoons that ever appealed to me were the Christmas specials and the 9 lives one [bloody weird one, look it up].

I've been on a massive kick for Dexter's Laboratory since my bf brought over an American DVD of the first season, was one of many toons I loved when I was about 9.
