No one likes them, unless you are a masochist or you take advantage of them to skip school or other compromisses.

Which kind of ills have you passed by? Regular ones? Grave ones? Do you have an allergy or other specific problem?

Ja.

I get sick quite often though, at least once every couple months. I usually just have a cold + cough, but I've had a lot of other things too. I've almost died from two when I was young.

I don't really get sick that often but I tend to get minor aches from head to toe once in a while. Worst illness I ever had was flu.

The more common ills I caught were colds, throat pain, weak Otitises... The worst ill that I ever had was more or less 2,5 years ago, I caught a serious Pneumonia, I even stood at the ICU for 5 days at the hospital because of its advanced state.

I have a chest infection. Missing school isn’t so great when you have important exams coming up.

Isn't there a 2nd exam in Ireland? You know, for those that for a fair reason must skip the real exam?

The most common is cold.
The worst i had was an grave asthma attack, i feeled like if i was going to pass-out. (I also got a parasites in my stomach once, wasn't able to sleep, did not want to eat.)

That's all.

I'm suffering from a horrible permanent colitis. I have to remain on medication (two pills twice a day) for the rest of my life to prevent the symptoms. Even with that medication though, I'm due a 40% chance of a "relapse" in the next couple of years. If that happens, I immediately have to switch back to taking nineteen tablets every day for eight weeks.

And last year I suffered from a prolonged and excruciating case of nausea. I missed around 33% of all my A2 college lessons, which seriously impacted my final grades. Thankfully, that problem was eradicated when I was prescribed treatment for the colitis. I believe the two were connected.

The exams aren’t until June. The problem isn’t missing the exams, it’s missing classes. Because of my illness I’m now three days behind my classmates, which really doesn’t help (I’m already kind of crap at physics and chemistry). I suppose I should be studying right now.

I thought you were talking about missing exams. Yes, it is bad missing classes due to a ill... When I had my Pneumonia, I got 1 month delayed in classes, but I quickly stabilized the missing units by studying.

I knew a girl that eventually had to drop out of college because she always got ill, and that was no thanks to having a brain tumour and then having steroids that made her put on a LOT of weight. It was a shame cause she was quite a nice girl. :(

I waited 43 mins for the bus today (there's supposed to be one every 10 minutes at that time of day), and then the bus was full of old coughing people. Think I have a slight cold now, which is annoying as I have some important tests this week and also the analysis exam tomorrow.

I'm gonna write a complaint to the transport department, because srsly the buses here are fucked.

As concerns the other illnesses I had flu a few times, also I have permanent eye problems, some problems with my joints, particularly in my neck, and often I have headaches.

Same here in this country, and we use buses meant for London! Already had a cold but yeah I know how annoying it is to assume that you caught a cold off some old coot didn't take a bath in 5 years.

Holy cow, in here it is the same thing.

I'm currently with a cold, but I have no clue of where I got this. On Friday I awaked with a throat pain, that in Saturday's twilight developed into a cold with nasal congestion.

It must be probabily from the latest days that I've been forgetting to take my anti-bacterial gel with me to school, which made me not being able to wash/desinfect my hands on the desired ammount of times as I wanted. I guess it was time enough to get the cold.

They're supposed to run every 7-8 mins compared to Essex ones [ages] but half the time they take longer than that, and when you do get one they're mostly packed with people who cough like they're gonna lose an organ. It'd be understandable if it was the actual city but here it's just a small town about 20 miles away, it's that populated here.

Enough whining about local shite. Still got an annoying cough that only starts at night, and I felt like I had a headache coming on today. x{
