Yep, both are Photoshop. Although the first one was in CS4 and the second in CS5.

You've really gotten far, congratulations! Although you should work on the face of your new drawing, one of the contours of the girl's face is "blobby". Also, the upper lip looks strange, the widening of the upper lip always lays in the centre in most humans I've seen until now.

But for the rest, good job! This is already a very good cartoony style. If you want to go for realism you only need to work on letting bones be "detectable" in your drawing, which is an essential trait for realism.
