How do you save in Rayman 3 (GBA)?

I've recently got out my Gameboy Advance and decided to start playing Rayman 3 (GBA) but... I can't figure out how to save.

I love this game and all, but it would be even better if I knew how to actually save.

It saves you're data automatically after you finish a level. Unless you have a pirated copy, which likley doesnt save.

Just finish the level.

I must have either a pirated or defective copy of the game, because whenever I finish any level and then "quit" out of the game it won't save at all. Oh well. :/

It might be best to download the game on an emulator. It works perfectly for me on VBA(Virtual Boy Advance) which is a good emulator that you should try out.

Or maybe you have a defective GBA. Got a photo of the cartridge at all?

That's quite odd then... I also wait for a photo of the cartridge.

This rather sounds like a defective cartridge, though GBA cartridges aren't as vulnerable to this as older GB/GBC cartridges with battery+RAM.
