Directed at the dumbass moderator who locked it, did you even try your own link before posting it? Don't assume people haven't used Google just because they're asking for help on a specialized forum. Not everyone is retarded enough to not Google it first.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that. I was wrong asking for help here, mistake on my part. Do whatever the hell you want.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my disdain for the term ‘dumbass’. Very stupid and American. Makes no sense whatsoever as an insult.

It's stupid and doesn't make sense, but I don't see why the fact that it's American is a bad thing.

I cannot abide Americanisms of any form. They are the cancer of the English language.

I won't debate on this, but while I can understand that you'd like British people to not use Americanisms, I don't see why other people should not use them. This fellow here isn't British.

I meant people of the UK. I don't know how to refer to them but by using the word "British".

Ireland isn’t the UK either, but that’s not relevant. I prefer the entire English-speaking world to avoid Americanisms.

Ah, but there is no objective reason to this in my opinion.

I find Americanisms inelegant and dumbed-down. They are a corruption of a fine language.
