I kind of hate when you explain something so someone and your answer makes it blatant as to whether you mean yes or no, but people still don't understand what you mean and continue to ask the same question.

An example would be:

PERSON: Do you want to play a game online?
ME: I have no Xbox Live Gold.
PERSON: So are you playing or not?

It's extremely obvious that I'm not because I have no Xbox Live Gold and can't play online.

So yeah, it annoys me when people do things like that because they're either A. not listening or B. stupid.

I don't think I have ever came across someone like that in my life.

Sorry for the huge bump, but I wanted to say 2 things that really boil my blood.

1. When you ask a question to someone and they answer it with an answer that isn't even an answer to your question.

2. When people never get to the point of what they have to say and they get sidetracked all the time.

Politicians, in other words.

I know one that's even worse, when someone asks you a question and then says "WHAT!?" while you're still in the middle of talking to them.

Things that boil my blood...
When I talk to someone who doesn't pay attention to me or rudely shuts me down.
When people bring their "political correctness" without understanding contexts, push their opinion down our throat and aren't willing to listen to other's opinion, if not they twist words. Bonus points if said people are also attention wh0r35, bringing victimhood and making drama to boost their inexistent ego (basically some tumblr and twitter people). Worse if they're "morally superiors" (which end up being hypocrites and/or problematic people themselves - kiwifarms covered some, as an example).
Politics. Self explanatory.
And more.

This might sound oddly specific, but I run into it so much:
When people ask the most ridiculous questions (under the pretence for open and honest dialogue) that sound borderline passable in a different context, but in the given context, are amazingly offensive (not in a PC way), accentuated by the cluelessness of the asker, who gets completely hoity-toity and pompous when told off.

In a recent example that had my jaw on the floor - I was witness to a motorcycle accident (the car who hit him was 100% in the wrong, clear cut), and someone (who studied his helmet cam footage like I did) had the audacity to, despite agreeing the car was in the wrong, ask the guy what he learned and what he feels he could do differently in the future to prevent an accident like this happening in the future.

I just... what? The car ran a red light and hit him sideways and wasn't visible until it was past the stopline. Are you serious?

I told him to use his brain, gave an analogy to asking an assault victim what they "learned and can do differently", and said that it's very obvious there was nothing to be learned on the rider's part, because it was very clearly unavoidable - and he came back with "Are you interested in having honest dialogue?" And called my statement... "Impetuous"... holy fuck? This guy only cares about himself, and he's convinced he's a saint.

One thing I guess that got to me was to dwell on things if people didn't like me because of something I did, but then I started to realise that it doesn't affect my life. You often get those people who tell you that you're in the wrong, but sometimes their arguments are so ridiculously one sided that they're hypocrites, blind to their own wrongdoings. I often make the argument that humans aren't perfect, but some actually seem to think they are.

I met few people like that. Someone I was formerly friend with would even accuse me of "hurting them" for making silly jokes, but them making offensive jokes on me was ok for them. In our [abusive] friendship, according to them, I was in the wrong most of the time and them being the victim until they felt the need to apologize for overreacting and using laughable excuses to justify themselves.
There's tons of shit I would bring up, but I'll limit to say this only.
I loathe that person with a burning passion to this very day, even if few years have passed since I cut ties from them.

I guess holding a grudge and dwelling are a little different though, with holding a grudge you don't think about it a lot, but just dislike the person. When it comes to dwelling, you think a lot and get bothered by it too. Usually there's a good reason when it comes to holding a grudge.

If it wasn't for dwelling in the past and noticing red flags I missed, I wouldn't be finding other reason to justify my grudge. I guess it's different to each person.

Well I guess it's normal to dwell at first, especially if it's something big that affects your own life.

Since we have a veganism thread going, here's one: people who mock vegans in that really cheap, lazy, "haha I'm gonna eat a big steak just to spite vegans" way. It's almost always missing the point and the jokes themselves haven't progressed at all since a decade ago, it's like boomer humor for people of all ages lol

I've touched this upon on another thread, and now I'll be sharing my recent frustrations with this game, it's playerbase, and some other things not related to it.

Two nights ago, we recruited a new member to our tribe on Ark Survival. We finally had a additional member who can mess around with the leader. All was going well until yesterday... The leader, decided to invite a new member who was looking to get any "free dinos" to start off. Which was a big mistake of him, I was offline when it happened, and neither he or the third member consulted ME about it. So, what happened? The fourth member took all of our cryopodded dinos, some weapons and chibis, then the thief ran off. He left the tribe. He straight up scammed us. The worst part is that the leader is younger than me, and is easy to be tricked. He was already reprimanded twice by other players to not let his guard down. And look what happened: All my hard work and effort gone to waste.

I lost MONTHS of work to raise these ice wyverns, the Managarmr, Rexes, Deinonychus, and the Yutyrannusses. (The latter of which had color mutations and they're not easy to raise) I was already aware that there are scammers in the community and in every online server ever. That's why I invite players whom have experience with the game, whom already have got essential creatures that they tamed/raised themselves or had bought from other players. But it's a safer bet to invite friends you know personally. I've asked for help and the people in the server, whom have helped my tribe in the past are going to look for the scammer, and try to talk sense to them.

Moral of the story: Don't invite new players if you're younger than 16 and are hella oblivious.

I hate it when people don't flush the toilet and they do not wash their hands, people raising their voice when it's not necessary at all.

Ugh yeah this. Also when said plebs stick meat products in the plant alternative aisles. It's bad enough when ordinary plebs pick up meat and place it anywhere in a supermarket unknowingly, thus risking contaminating the nearby products. Then you've got "beef dripping vs vegetable oil in the local chippy" debacle, because how dare you vegans expecting to actually be able to buy chips and not worry about cross contamination.

My latest bugbear is people who road rage. It's always been a thing but it seems to have gotten worse during the pandemic even in the lockdowns when there's barely anyone on the roads, people still want to make hand gestures out the window or have a braking/stop-start/shouting match. Even just observing it from a distance is enough to depress the shit out of me.

Can't say I've been driving much with the lockdown, not to mention my stupid tire that deflates every couple days.
