Rayman 2 - editting, mixing possibilities.

Hello,
I am new to the forum but I loved rayman series since I was 6. My favourite rayman is rayman 2 ofc. Now since I got bored of waiting for next decent rayman, I started browsing the Internet to get more stuff about rayman. One thing that really striked me is the fact that this game(Rayman 2) is very different on different ports. I also learned that many people managed to rip a lot of stuff from this game. So I am wondering if it's possible to mix some version of rayman to get a ful footage of it with all the bonuses and so on. Basically how far people are able to do sth with rayman?

I guess I can't really help you with your request but this might be slightly related anyways...
I have just hacked an Action Replay Code which allows you to access the 2D Rayman 2 Prototype in the Playstation 1 versions of the game anytime simply by selecting "New Game" from the main menu:
The code should work with both US and EU versions.
This way you no longer have to redo the final boss fight every time you want to play this hidden game!
But to get back to your question, I guess it will be next to impossible to accomplish this since the data format (let alone the actual game engine coding) is vastly different between all the different versions of Rayman 2...
I am sorry, I really don't want to spoil anything for you but that's just the truth.
The closest thing to what you'd like to have would be a modification for the PC version of Rayman 2 which tries to recreate content from some of the console versions. But even that is unheard of for now, I don't think anyone has created mods for this game which add completely new content yet.
The PC version of Rayman 2 doesn't seem to be all that popular, so nobody has really tried doing anything like this so far.

The PC version is the only version I played and IMHO it's awesome and as far as I'm concerned it got 9/10 in most of the reviews. I don't see big difference between n64 and PC. I mean just mixing up the world. Like having the globox village added and so on... It should be possible with some versions in some levels.

Sorry that's harder than you think. Nobody have figured out how to decrypt the data files yet.

Ok I have another question. I noticed there were some texture packs ripped from Rayman 2. Can someone direct me to it?
Thank you in advance.

I know that have been done in various emulators, but I don't find any topic about that at the moment.

Someone did something similar with Rayman one, though I can't find the thread.
