So I'm pretty pissed, after all the hard work I've put in being a moderator, Hunch has gone and decided to be a dick and kick me off the team for no fucking reason.
So basically FUCK PC AND FUCK YOU ALL!!!

Kidding, I'm actually resigning as a moderator. Due to a number of factors, I've not been anywhere as active as I once was (as some of you have noticed). Though I still drop by daily, I don't really hang around long, and I've decided I'm no longer fit for the moderator position. It was fun though, I'm glad to have been a moderator here on Pirate Community.
So basically LONG LIVE PC I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Also, keep in mind though I am no longer going to be moderating, I will always be watching from the shadows.

Ah... well can't say I'm really surprised, but it's always sad to see a fellow mod leave ! Au revoir mon ami, I hope we'll see you from time to time, and thanks for the job you've done !

Thank you for your initiative, Crap! As I told you earlier, not only will you still have access to the secret forum but you'll also be welcome to return if one day you can. You've really been a great moderator and will always be a great member!

I'm a lot more worried about Acarr; she hasn't come in almost a month and thus hasn't read the PM I wrote two weeks ago about her activity. We're gonna have to take a decision if we want an efficient moderating team before E3 and its load of information about origins. Any suggestions?

She still uses Facebook regularly, I'll try contacting her through there, or you can if you have her added.

And as for Acarr, I say we ban her.

God I was going to make a post until Xen posted that. First things first I wish you all the post for irl Crap and hope you become more active here in the future.

Secondly Acarr, yes she hasn't been active, yes she hasn't texted me back for that text I sent her 2 weeks ago (Although i've been on my phone as much as she been on hers) but ban her? For what? Not being here? Now that doesn't sound very fair. She may not even have a good reason for not being active as she should be but she hasn't made the whole forum collapse or gone into war because of it so why should she get the ban hammer? Kicking her off the team seems like the best option for me although I have yet to contact her on FB and on MSN (I do wish pidgin would tell me when people log on and off). And no I do not plan on stalking her irl as well, we may live near but not close enough for me to do that.

Anyway, if both HC and Acarr is off the team, I'd suggest hiring at least one more english mod. Not sure we need that many more, unless the place will be completely flooded with new members after E3.

I was joking about the banning thing, but the moderating team needs to have serious talks with her about this. "Having a social life" doesn't warrant a good enough reason for this huge absence in activity, and imposes an unreasonable assumption that we, who do still have time for this forum, lack the social life she boasts to have.

Even so i'd like to see you contact her. I have a hard time doing it myself and all I have to do is go to the other side of Edinburgh to meet up with her. I will try harder to contact her though after next Friday since the last of our exams are to end on that day and I have no idea what subject she took this year.

But of course, we would never de-moderate someone without having talks beforehand (except for Crap!)

I can understand that, and that there's no real harm in keeping her mod status for now until she does come on anything, but it's not going to happen any time soon. Not that it needs to happen right now but I doubt so when RO comes out.

That's a shame, I hope you'll be active again one day!

It will probabily be like 2 years ago: the interested members must PM Hunch or any other mod, and telling the reasons of why the individual is interested in being a mod. After the moderation team decides the members who will get the role.
