You could try using the maxframes or highframes fps config from there, they give a very significant performance boost.

i had tryied the new mode and i got to admit:IT IS KICKASS,the only problem is getting to a server but anyway if you want to play with me,i think i might play more tomorrow

Me and Matyuv played last nightand it was heaps of fun, expect for the fact I kept getting lag at the worst times.

I think the best strategy is to get (if possible) 6 Heavies and just own face. Even with 2 people it's pretty hard.

Played quite a lot yesterday, Medic + Demo + Heavy worked well. Yep only three of us, that was quite hard ahah.
I also played with some retards who thought 2 Engies + Sniper + Spy was a great idea. Oh and protecting the base is too mainstream for them, so I was doing that on my own.

I still think 6 heavies is the best strategy.

Yes it is, it's incredibly fun.
Merasmus (the boss), can be annoying though, he's only getting in the way if you've already killed him.
And there are a bunch of kids who ragequit if you kill them, yelling things in (voice)chat that you need to stop attacking eachother and work together to kill the boss.

well.. that is the entire point of scream fortress... work toghether to get a misc/hat by defeating a boss..

So it's really entertaining to piss people off by killing them at Merasmus, or shoving them into the pit by airblasting them.
