Hi,


I'm currently trying to finish the Rayman 3 GBA extra levels you get when you link it with its Gamecube version.
I got to Bonus 7, that's is impossible. There are no guides on the net, and while searching for an answer I reached this forum
The seventh level is impossible. You start next to a moving platform that burns when it reaches the end of its path, then there are two skull moving platforms (the ones that can only be used if you punch them to stop them), and after that there is another burning moving platform. When you ride it, it stops next to a wall and there is no possibility to do continue, the platform burns, Rayman falls and dies.

I'm starting to believe that my game is bugged or something. Can anyone tell me how to solve this mystery?

In other words, you have nothing to say on topic... well, it's just like me.

There is some random possibility your game is not working right (see: my hoodlum), but I think you may be supposed to do something weird. Can you see anything else? Is the level really that empty, or are there obstacles/lums/crown-thingies-replacing-purple-lums/whatever on the way of the platform?

There are no lums in the bonus levels.
The only thing I see is a spikey floating bomb and an explodable bomb before I reach the mortal wall. I can easily avoid both of them: just explode the second one and jump over the first one.

Did someone played these levels really? The idea of linking two consoles was very good, but it seems that no one did it on the net. There is no info over the net about these levels.

If I had the GBA version of the game, I would already have played the bonus levels.

I can only think in one thing: Does the wall is made of wood? If it is, then you can destroy it with a charged fist.

No, it's just stone.

Unfortunately, without actually seeing the level it's hard to come up with anything. Did you try to... erm... fall earlier?

can you film it so we can see?

The fact that no one seems to have finished these levels leads me to think that a lot remains to do as concerns the unlocking of 2D Nightmare.

Okay, I solved it!

It's been a lot of years since I played this game and I forgot all abilities. I only needed to push L while I was on the last wall and Rayman could do a wall jump using two walls. I didn't remember you could do that.

I'm playing Rayman 3 for GC now, I hope I complete it in some days and then start looking for the mystery about the supposed 11th GC-Link GBA Bonus Level and that missing minigame in GC that I read somewhere.

So there were 2 walls after all. Well, can you tell us anything about those extra levels? Are they hard generally?

They are very very hard, but not impossible.

I finished all 10 levels. I read somewhere in this forum that there is a 11th level called 'The final challenge' but I haven't unlocked it. I will have to get the 100% in R3 for Gamecube I guess.
