Rayman Pirate-Community

We at Pirate-Community, the largest Rayman community, are proud to host an art competition on the theme of Rayman Origins, sponsored by Ubisoft in their effort to bring Rayman back to his fans.

• Theme
The theme is ‘Team’. Create an image of Rayman teaming up with friends to thwart evil. Note that his team-mate has to be an original character or a Ubisoft character.

• Submission form
The submission has to be a Team Pose or Action shot. It does not necessarily have to be drawing, do not hesitate to show your creativity: draw, paint, 3D, photograph, knit a tablecloth, bake a Rayman cake... it can be anything as long as it fits with the theme and is submitted as an image. Multiple entries are allowed and encouraged.

• Timeline
The competition starts on August 12, and will end on September 8. Winners will be chosen and notified by September 14.

• Prizes

• Winners (~2): a trip to the Eurogamer Expo in London (September 22-25) or to the Paris Games Week (October 21-25), with free travel, hotel and entrance for two persons, and the Rayman gift basket (copy of the game, T-shirts, posters, stickers) upon release of the game. Note that the grand prize is only available to people residing in the UK (Eurogamer Expo) or in France (Paris Games Week), over 16 years of age or if younger, accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Runners-up (~5): the Rayman gift basket upon release of the game. Note that the gift basket can only be shipped to Europe, and that the game is available in English, French and German.
• Other participants: we will do our best to get most of you a consolation prize.

• How to participate
Send an email to competitionraymanpc.com with your forum username, your country of residence and your entry before September 8, and explicitly confirm your participation in this topic. Your username will be added to the list of competitors below as a confirmation. All entries will be published here after the winners have been chosen.

Oh dammit, the contest started half an hour ago, I started two hours ago, and now I'm pretty much done. This contest is too long!

Can you use characters from games other than origins? Like rayman 3 perhaps

Well actually sometimes if you don't intend to get the prize, they actually don't allow you to enter because if you end up winning it pisses everyone else off. No one would get the prize.

i can't win the best prize thought (living in the dutch country of pride has it's downsides)

The grand prize is for UK residents only, but the Rayman Origins gift basket can be shipped anywhere in Europe. So, do not hesitate to participate if you live on the Old Continent!
