As I have been forced to reiterate several times already, I have asked my questions. I was attempting to make it clear to certain members that most of the questions they ‘relly wanna ask’ are short-sighted and regrettable, in the hopes that more insightful questions might be asked.

Sigh.
sergiomonty wrote:I accept the challenge, but only if the teensy is mr dark from the begining of the game, because I find posible that later in the game he will get "overpowered" and change his appeareance to the mr. Dark we al know. That girl was totally confirmed to be Betilla a long time ago.
First of all, you only have 1830 Tings, so I’m not sure exactly how you can wager sixty thousand of them. Do you plan to take out a Ting loan of some sort (that would be cool, by the way)? Shall we simply lower the stakes to two thousand Tings, with the understanding that you’ll probably have that many by the time one of us can be proven right?

Secondly, the conditions you impose are completely arbitrary, and are obviously inspired by your desire not to lose the bet. I believe that the Teensy will become Mr Dark within the duration of the game, but you seem to want me to bet that he’ll be Mr Dark from the beginning (which is something I don’t believe for a second). Either the Teensy and Mr Dark are the same character – or they’re not! There are no in-betweens, no ‘what if he becomes Mr Dark halfway through the game’. If you’re not confident enough that they’re separate characters to make the bet, feel free to decline it!

Thirdly – I am aware of the identity of the fairy. I was simply referring to the uncertainty at the time of her first unveiling.
sergiomonty wrote:Oh, and TK is right, you can make good questions (I don't find them bad) but leave people alone, good questions are not your problem.
Could someone please explain this to me? I genuinely do not understand. Is the desire to find out more Rayman Origins details *immediately* so overwhelming that you would rather ask about the game’s contents than take this opportunity to gain knowledge which otherwise would pass out of our reach forever? As I have said numerous times, I just want people to think a little more about what they’re asking and what they could be asking.
sergiomonty wrote:

We do. In order to have a reasonable number of questions chosen and ordered in a coherent way, we will select the best ones and base our interview on them.
got it?
I’m perfectly familiar with the question-selection process. I simply hoped that more members would ask questions worthy of our one and only interview, which is why this thread was created. I think this is the third or fourth time I’ve said this, but it doesn’t seem to be getting through.

spiral found another prey to feast on, same old news... :P

Anyway, here are a few questions, sorry if anyone already asked any of these, then just never mind:

Are the 4 main characters the only playables, or will there be more to choose from?

We saw a lot of cameos from the first game, Rayman 1, will we have some connections story wise with the later games R2 or R3, besides the Appearence of Globox and the Teensies?

If the game is succesfull, do you have any plans or ideas to continue?

Who scores the music for the game?

How deep is the story going to be? It was said that the story is built up like if you are casual player then it's a great fun for you, and if you just run through the game, you will have a great time. But if you are a hardcore fan who wnat to explore the details then there are some treats for you. Do they have the same fun feeling like the game over all, or are there some darker secrets, or shock value?

Do you really expect Michel Ancel or the developers to answer such a question? :\
Supposing Ancel has Miyamoto-like powers of saying "We do not even allow development of Rayman game that is insert something here" to UbiSoft with effects, he should be informed how well games sold. Supposing he has no such powers, he may know it neverthless.

Such questions would make sense like 2 years after release of RO if the game itself wouldn't reveal it clearly. Now... come on, asking such stuff does NOT make sense. Unless they want to change something now, but given certification processes, it sounds hard.

I understand both of you,but since I was born,I'm very very very impatient.I can't wait to know certain things about RO.
I won't be able to wait 3 months and a half to know if Ly's going or these kind of things...I'm sorry but I just can't,and, plus, every question I wanted to ask beyond RO have been already asked

Ok so there's no bet, spiraldoor, maybe we share ideas, but I don't find it as official yet, unlike you

Well, maybe people who ask these questions want to find out more details, even if the game is coming soon, we are just impatient, ok?. Maybe we don't care about things that you care. Who cares? it's our problem, not yours, seriously, so please stop your criticism. Can you please turn off your pride and face that you're wrong? There are many questions that I find pointless, like "what's your favorite hoodlum", but guesss what? is not my problem because I'm here to ask questions.

You're ruining the interview with your complaints. So stop it here, ignore other people, STOP QUOTING SO MUCH, and most importantly: ASK QUESTIONS. Maybe I'm not the oldest user here like you, but I find flamewars stupid, and i hope you to note that you're doing just a big and dumb flamewar. That's all, If you say anything else, I will just ignore you, so don't waste your time. TK should do the same and ignore spiraldoor. I don't want to get banned just for a stupid fight, because I find this forum somehow entertaining and informative, so please spiraldoor, PLEASE, stop it here.

Can we PLEASE drop this whole 'what question is the best one' discussion? It's been going round in circles for a long time now and I don't believe we'll ever get close to resolving it if we don't just drop it. Look, I'll state what the deal is, and then people can either say 'I agree with that' or 'I don't' or 'I don't give a Ray-d*** about what you say' but THEN. CAN WE. PLEASE. JUST STOP?! Alright then.

Spiraldoor's opinion:
-Ask questions that we could otherwise not learn the answer to.
I must say I agree.

Some other users' opinion:
-Ask questions that we find interesting to know about, even though we will find out anyway - but we really want to know them now, not later.
I must say I can imagine why one would want to know these things, though I still think Spiraldoor is correct.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN, no matter how much we fight over the actual questions themselves:
The comprisors of the interview will select the questions THEY seem most fit to get into the interview. Now I am not one of them, so I don't know if this will be based on question popularity, value of the question itself or other factors. But we are not the ones to decide which questions go through or not, so we should not be arguing about whether or not a question is a good one, since it won't change the endresult anyway. There's no point to this arguement anymore, since all parties in it have clearly stated their opinion, and made it quite crystal what they stand for, but are now just repeating themselves and the whole fight is going in circles.

Alright - those are the two sides. That's where it's at. The only solution to end this fight is to forget about it and let people get on with their questions. Arguements in threads like this might give it a negative reputation, and people might not want to look at this thread anymore, in fear of seeing another person arguing with another over silly matters that we don't have control over anyway.

So STOP the fighting. It is getting old, and frankly, I find all of it quite childish, no matter how badly you want to express your opinion about the subject. You've all done that, heck, even I have done it, so that's that. There is nothing more to fight over but things already discussed. Can we please just bury the battleaxe and GET ON WITH IT?!

For the others, outsiders of the fight, do not hesitate to ask your question. Like I said, it will not be us to judge whether it's good, insightful, or even vaguely worth putting in the interview. That's for the people making it to decide. You can read the question, go 'ugh what an idiot' in your head, but then keep it there. We do not need to know you do not like a question, or the person asking it. I think it's a good idea to, when you feel compared to fight with someone once again, instead of doing so, walk away from the screen, grab a bite or something, then come back and think over it again. Is it really worth fighting about? Is it so important to once again express what I think? Do I really want to prolong this endless and useless fight over nothing? And for what?
This arguing is a waste of time, and it should be through with.

Please, please stop fighting NOW. I'm getting bored of it, you guys are yourselves probably also getting bored of it and hell, I don't understand why the mods haven't yet gotten bored of it. We all know why you fight, I understand, believe me. I don't want this interview go to waste, but it's not up to us to decide that fate. We can only help in its process by trying to think of the most useful questions, or the ones we believe are most likely to be asked.

And now I myself am through with trying to DIPLOMATICLY resolve this conflict. My rant is over, and although I was quite calm when I began writing this, I am now getting on edge myself. I have said what I wished to say, so now I will end this. Just think about what I said and please, PLEASE - let's just move on.

Thank you.

PS
By the way, I'm not angry at the time of writing this - perfectly calm, even, but there's no more need to continue the pointless discussion, hence my stressing of certain words.

EDIT:
PPS
It looks like the opposing parties have already straightened themselves out. Good. I hate ranting, and I'm no good at it. Good of all of you to just drop it. Now let's continue.

Look, it's no use to point fingers, but it's good that you won't speak of it again. Spiral, please don't take offence to any more attempts to insult you - I think they're just poking the bear. And the bear can lash out, I've seen it!

Yes, yes, no doubt! And maybe that's why no-one else can think of anything else to ask anymore except what they are burning with desire to find out. Who knows - but let's try to do our best thinking of a good question now.

I don’t wish to continue this, but you have made a great deal of accusations which I can’t allow to go unchallenged. As I’ve said, I don’t mind some Rayman Origins content questions. They won’t get through, as they are objectively less valuable than the other questions. I was just trying to encourage people not to spend too much time on them. I really don’t see how ‘pride’ or any other personal characteristics come into this.

I’m not ruining the interview. Judging by the questions we’re still getting, it’s obvious that I haven’t made any impact at all. I only made two posts about the problem, one of which was extremely brief, but several members (including you) pursued the matter and dragged it out over several pages. There’s nothing wrong with posting quotes. I’m not an old member. I’m not participating in a flamewar. I will be quite glad if you ignore me. Nobody is going to ban you.

Back to the topic, nothing happened here. Ok, I'll try to think less about RO and more about the interview

-We saw that there's some compatibility with Xbox live and PSNetwork in RO, what will those be used for? the wii version will work too with wi-fi connection?
-Was the concept of the scrapped Rayman 4 similar to Rayman Raving Rabbids on GBA?
-What inspired you to create the Rabbids?
-Was it hard for you to turn Rabbids and Rayman into separated series?
