Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
I will try to think less of RO too:
-What made you decide it was time to leave the Rabbids behind?
-Is there any possibility for Ubisoft to make a Rayman Kart for consoles, like Mario Kart?
-Have you thought of doing comics, films,TV series or something like that about Rayman?
-Do you already have some story for a possible Rayman 4?
-Does Rayman Origins mean the end of the Rabbid era forever?
-Can we expect seing again Rayman in the platforming games without distractions like the Rabbids were?
-Are you planning to recover Rayman's fame as a platformer icon?

Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
Ok, so I'm not gonna read through 8 pages of questions to see if this has already been asked, but here are mine:
"Does the possibility of a near-future continuation of the Rayman storyline rest mainly on the commercial success of Rayman Origins?"
"Is the new style present in Rayman Origins likely to continue, or is it a one-off for the series?"

"What is your opinion on Rayman 3?"
and
"Will characters from that game, like Reflux, be making any returns in the future?"

Reflux is epic-ness!!!!! REFLUX!
"You seem quite clever, stranger. That's good. I like clever people - their brains are tastier!"
Reflux- Rayman 3
Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
"Alot of characters from previous games have made a return in Origins in an attempt to connect the Rayman 1 and 2-3 universe. Will there be more returning characters we don't know of yet? And if so, can you give us a name or a hint?"
"What inspired you to give Polokus the Bubble Dreamer his big makeover?"
"Is Rayman now officially the one and only limbless oddball in the francise's universe?"

Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
·How complete was the 2D prototype of Rayman 2? Have you though about releasing it one day?
·Can we expect/spect (I forgot how to spell that) to see levels or character as DLCs in Rayman Origins?
·Will Bubble Dreamer be called Polokus any time during Rayman Origins? Will he show his Rayman 2 form?
·In Rayman 3,who scared the first Red Lum which became Andry for the first time?

Did anyone notice that since the interview a whole bunch of new members joined?
My boy, the end of Rayman 3 is a flashback, which is pretty confusing to find out.TeensieKing wrote: ·In Rayman 3,who scared the first Red Lum which became Andry for the first time?

Yeah, could have done with making the flashback a bit more obvious. Although...hands with a mind of their own?RayTunes wrote:Did anyone notice that since the interview a whole bunch of new members joined?

How would you have done Rayman 3 if you had more control over the project?
If we do see a possible future game, would you consider putting in some of the more open elements from Beyond Good and Evil?
How proud are you of the Rayman franchise overall?

It's a flashback? How do you know? Could it also not just be that Ray's hands want to make Globox happy again because he said he missed Andre so much?RayTunes wrote: My boy, the end of Rayman 3 is a flashback, which is pretty confusing to find out.

Play Rayman Arena (PC) online with friends~! (Or here.)

It's a flashback because there's a small fade out when we see the Moons and they move back, so it's obviously a flashback.Shrooblord wrote:It's a flashback? How do you know? Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
OK, this question is not to Ancel: who said Moons move this way and not that way? (Not even including possibility of more moons.)
Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
Moons shouldn't move by fading out and appearing lots of light years back.stan423321 wrote:OK, this question is not to Ancel: who said Moons move this way and not that way? (Not even including possibility of more moons.)

...
You didn't get it. The scene obviously is not "in the same time", but I initially always thought they moved FORWARD.

Ah, now I understand. I still support it being a flashback.stan423321 wrote:...

Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
I suppose it was confirmed as so, but still it wasn't obvious in PC version. I heard the GC's one was more literal, but I'm not sure about it.
Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
Will be there some day a new 3D Rayman game?
Does Rayman Origins mean the end of the Rabbid era?
Could you tell us some more things about that Rayman 2 Beta for PSX and Saturn?

Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
Many fans have questioned about the name of Rayman's specie. Have you ever thought in naming his specie?
