Who was the contact person from Ubisoft?
Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
We will never be able to tell our beloved Michel Ancel how we would love the series to be, will we?

I suspect he already knows of RPC, so in a way he does.

Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
Honestly, Michel Ancel should just join our community and talk with us every now and then as we can give great and excellent tips, even though he is the Grandmaster that decides everything. Could anyone possibly contact him and tell him about the community, and possibly make him join? lol xDdartofthedavros wrote:I suspect he already knows of RPC, so in a way he does.

Despite my skepticism, I'll try anyway
Estimated Michel Ancel, there is some hope to release in coming years a new Rayman title in 3D-Platform style but serious, mystical and dark how Rayman 2 TGE, or in the authentic style of the first era?

If there is ever to be another 3D Rayman I'm sure it'll be a great game but if anyone is still hoping for a cancelled Rayman 4 like game they need to start realising that's just not what Rayman is anymore.
Imagine him visiting his biggest fan community after completing Legends and reading 150 pages of "yeah but rayman 2 is better"dartofthedavros wrote:I suspect he already knows of RPC, so in a way he does.

You know, if he reads that message, he'll probably know that some fans who knows the beta story of Rayman3 want a game with it. Maybe modifing for making a sequel and naming it Rayman 3.5 : Cagoulard (beta hoodlum) Revenge [Such imagination] ?
Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
Yeah that sounds marketable. How did Ubisoft never think of making this goldmine of a game.

Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
And I didn't even know that a beta story existed.

Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
It was much different from final story, it was found in PC demo. There were going to be much more characters, a Xowar minigame, more powers (Razibus) and more things.Adsolution wrote:And I didn't even know that a beta story existed.

Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
Meh, I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I don't want a carbon copy of Rayman 2. I might like its tone and the world-building behind it, but there's plenty of new ideas and gameplay features that its successors and even games outside of the franchise have conceived that I think the Rayman series could do well to be inspired by.

Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
In my opinion you are wrong to interpret always hurts those who write that Rayman 2 was the best or better than other Rayman titles.Meh, I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I don't want a carbon copy of Rayman 2.
The fact that Rayman 2 was the best (for me) or one of the best (for others) only means that Ancel should draw inspiration through its concept for a new Rayman (just as it did with Rayman 3), not that it should make a copy of Rayman 2 itself.
For example, I have from years a plot in mind: Bad Rayman returns after plotting revenge trying to destroy the world of Rayman plunging him into darkness, Rayman will have to reach the top of the world and will have to deal with it in an epic final battle!
A question that has nothing to do: there is a way to center the signature image? I have try with html codes but nothing.
Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
I actually would suggest you to shrink the image because it is too large.Raymania wrote:

Yeah, he doesn't really need to pop to the forum (and I don't think it would be a good idea). *Imagines his PM box full of spam/undesirable questions*

Well, it is not impossible, however, I highly doubt it.OldClassicGamer wrote:What if he has a secret account here already?RaymanPS1 wrote:Honestly, Michel Ancel should just join our community and talk with us every now and then as we can give great and excellent tips, even though he is the Grandmaster that decides everything. Well, I agree. He doesn't need to join the community. He knows what he is doing, but making him aware of us, maybe checking in once in a while, and ask us something if he needed some questions answered. What about we having an interview with him at all?Haruka wrote:Yeah, he doesn't really need to pop to the forum (and I don't think it would be a good idea). *Imagines his PM box full of spam/undesirable questions*
