I hope he never tries to remake R1 into something R1 is not.
R1 remake if it ever happens should also never run on UbiArt Framework.

Hmm, and why do you feel that should be the case?

If he reworked R1 remake and adapted worlds to fit more in style of later games, all charm from first game would be lost.
UbiArt Framework is too much fast-phased engine and definitely not for R1 gameplay

On the contrary, we've seen that Rayman Origins and Legends are merely an example of the engine's capabilities, games like Child of Light are proof that the engine is far more versatile than making fast paced platform games. UbiArt is an engine, not an artstyle, don't forget, so what's to stop it using assets that follow Rayman 1's style?

That makes no fucking sense, what you just said.

Rayman 1 could be easily run as it did originally with UbiArt engine.

What I wanted to say is that RO and RL which are UbiArt engine games feel much faster and different in terms of gameplay from R1 so I thought it would maybe not ve good idea for such game like R1 to be remade on that engine but Master proved me wrong.

Simply thinking for a split second would signify that... the speed at which the game designers decided to have Rayman be able to sprint has no correlation to the engine it's running on. Not even the same ballpark, or the same sport. That's so far out there. It's like saying that the Unity Engine processes sound well because someone modelled a high-poly character in Maya before even trying to export it to the game yet. Image

I think they changed too much from R1 to R2, they tried to fix with RO and RL, but now I'd like to see a R1 remake with UbiArt. It would be awesome IMHO

I like the idea, it could be great. However, I have played the shit out of Rayman 1, and I honestly would rather see a new 2D Rayman-game with even better graphics, better online co-op and including Mr. Dark, and a way better storyline than in RO and RL. If that would be the case, then I think it would be the best way to go for the series. And then after pushing out a 2D Game with a great storyline, great online and Mr. Dark included, then they should move on to 3D Rayman, with a deep storyline and interesting gameplay.

Please bear in mind that this is only my opinion. :D

Meh, I think at this point, while it seems we all point to one of the classic titles in explaining what we want from the series, I think what we truly want is a little more diverse. Inspired by the same sources, but diverse.

I guess Ancel will have Beyond Good & Evil 2 as his main project for a certain period now. After that, I am honestly looking forward to see what kind of direction Ancel will take the series into. Well, also there should be DLC for Rayman Legends before or later imo. Hopefully Rayman 1 remaked maps.

This is just an incredibly blunt and insensitive notion, but is Raymania perhaps a really clever bot? Their responses seem so... disjointed. I'm sorry to be this obviously offensive.

Hm, now that you said it, he first created account Asher, and then later account AsherX and he repeated same question and pretended he never registred before. Same when he created accounts raymanfanit and Lexis.
You might be right Shroob :P
Haha, just kidding.

I see that for some people there is still poor clarity about my speeches, then do not say that I'm to raise always the issue!

So, first of all clarify that there was just a big misunderstanding from the beginning because I was not accusing Michel Ancel for having developed a new Rayman in 2D, but I accused him (and I accuse him still) for having done lose to Rayman the seriousness and deepness of the 1° era (see Rayman, Rayman 2, Rayman 3, Rayman Hoodlum's Revenge and Rayman Raving Rabbids (GBA version)... but I love indescribably Rayman and obviously Michel Ancel, I hope that so far it is clear once and for all.
It is true that I'm interested to 3D, but the point (my point) isn't the 2D or 3D, but the seriousness (or rather the old atmospheres, the depth, the old characters appeal, the mighty plot).

And as regard the issue of funding by Ubisoft for a new Rayman's 3D title or my tastes about characters skin evolution in last years, I repeat for the last time that it was just an opinion, I was not forcing, insulting or attacking anyone to think as me.

Moreover, the funding issue is not just my hypothesis (I've always stated that it was only an hypothesis), read here and you'll see it: http://rayman.wikia.com/wiki/Rayman_4
Trivia
*In an interview, a developer said that there was going to be a new Rayman game. This could have been referring to "Rayman 4", or Rayman Origins.
*Due to the success of Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends, it is likely that Ubisoft have reinstated interest in the franchise for innovation in platformers, thus it could be possible that the reintroduction of Rayman 4 will be met with approval pending confirmation that such a move would not harm the company financially.
Next, I did not say nonsense just because it is fashionable to say so. It is normal that if you enter in the topic dedicated to a 3D Rayman Sequel you'll see active discussions about. I just expressed an opinion (my opinion like everyone) in the sections dedicated to this argument, so what's wrong?
It is not fair that I am criticized only because I do not like the new era of Rayman. There who like and who's not! As there was those who disagree, but also agree, with me.
Unfortunately and fortunately I was, I'm still and will be forever so enthralled, enchanted and impressed from the 1° era of Rayman that for me is a real psychological torture doesn't have from years a new Rayman title (2D or 3D that be) in Rayman, Rayman 2 or Rayman 3 style.

So I have no mental defect but quite the opposite, I do not like the demential or too devoid of thought at all costs, and that's why I criticized the new era of Rayman.

Also I'm not english, then I don't know if the translator who helped me may have hinted even strange things. I try to be clear but the language is not an opinion. I can help me with my basic english culture, but I'm not yet equipped for "miracles".

... and don't worry I'm not offended, you just expressed your opinion.

Said this, I would like that this discussion ended here before it turns into the usual wrangle... by everyone, not just mine.

On the crap that I've done with my previous account I knew that I behaved like a fool (I do not even know why I behaved that way, maybe I just wasn't sure to stay), I apologize and not do it again! More of this I can't do or say.

By the way, OCG I answered to you about Rayman Garden. As soon as re-find it, I'll send also to you the application.

Alright, Raymania - I do now, as I did back then, but far more right now, see how stupendously insensitive and cruel my comment was. Please, will you accept my apology?

The Rayman Wikia isn't really the best source, articles like this: http://rayman.wikia.com/wiki/Blue_Rayman, don't really help its credibility, what you've put in red there seems more like wishful thinking.
