Hullo, forum!

I am currently drawing my entry to the UbiSoft art competition and it crossed my mind other people might like this idea. I will go in-game in any Rayman game I have and snap a picture for you to have as a reference shot. This will help you for example model a character from a Rayman game, or draw it.

So here's the deal: I'll go into game and try to get a picture from the angle you request as good as I can, then I'll upload it on my imagesharing site and post it here. I could also PM it you, if you would rather have that. For every reference image I snap, I would like to have 5 Tings. Now why is this? Not because I'm greedy for Tings, oh no. It's just that starting up the games and getting to the actual place to snap a picture can be a hassle - so I'd like something in return.
Limitations: I do not own all Rayman games so I won't be able to snap shots of every game.
Specifications: to request a reference snapshot, please state the following:
-Rayman Game
-Area where the character or location can be found so I know where to look
-Angle of shot (full front, 3/4 front-left, left, 3/4 back-left, back, 3/4 back-right, right, 3/4 front-right)
-Pitch of shot (normal pitch, low pitch, top pitch, bird's view, close-up)
-Detail of shot/surroundings (i.e. how big you want the object to be in the shot, how much surroundings you want to see)

I can take pictures of the following games:
(- Rayman 1; under investigation, please stand by)
-Rayman 2 TGE
-Rayman Revolution
-Rayman 3
-Rayman M

So here's an example of a set of reference images for Lunette:

Haha, thanks for those reference pictures! I was going to ask for some of Lunette (named Lieutenant in my game), but that happened to be your reference shot example character. But why only 5 tings? I guess it's your choice.

I know this wasn't in your list, but it's not hard for anyone with internet access. Can you get me some reference pictures of Flips and Lac Mac from the front / side / back? The pitch doesn't matter to me, I'd just like the pictures if possible in the next 10 hours or so. I probably won't be here to answer other technical questions. The only thing about the pictures I ask is that they be somewhat clear.

Well, I didn't want to push the fact that I'm charging for my pictures. The 'charge' is only because I do have to make some sort of effort to get the pictures - even though that is not a lot, I admit. I don't actually do things for the money or anything, really. Also, 5 Tings seemed fair as sometimes I have to go in and take like 10 pics before I find 4 I like - I have 25 pics of Foutch in my library, all kinda nice, though only one showing his back (while there's a pin stuck in his head). He's actually got an interesting armour plate on his back.

Humm... well, it's 22:45 over here now and I'm going to bed right after I stop writing this - but I can probably try to find the characters you specified tomorrow at some point; though I'd first have to find out who they are. XD
They're from the tv series, I know that much.
It's not within your designated deadline, sorry - only just read this. Also, may I ask why you have the deadline?

Sorry, I asked by then because I wasn't sure when I'd have internet access again. I'm in a coffee shop in Belgium right now, so I'm not sure when I might have access again.

Ah, alright. I'll check if I can find images later, but I'm afraid I'll have to postpone the requests for a week, since I really need to work like a steamroller on my contest entry.
So, if you guys don't mind, unless your reference image request is an urgent one (i.e. actually for the drawing contest), I am
CLOSING DOWN THE HUB for a week. I will reopen shop on the 8th of September, or on the date that my entry is finished and submitted.

So, please stand by for me to fill in your requests and tell me if you need it for the contest. If you do, I will do what I can to get a picture of it as soon as I can. Mind though that if it is to be found in the later stages of Revolution, in which I have not progressed quite far yet, I will not be able to fulfill the assignment. Sorry folks, but I really want to get my entry done and I really also don't feel like storming through an awesome game to get to a certain point - I want to play the game and still enjoy it (which is every moment of it up till now).

We had a talk via PMs. Boombox is a character who only appears in Rayman M. Whenever a player shoots a shitload of Glue Bombs at Globox, he turns into Boombox.

As in tick-tock-tick-tock BOOM-box.

Sure - any Murfy; the one from R2 or R3? I'll do all angles (front/rear/side) if not requested otherwise. Are there any specifications you could give me, or just simply a pic of Murfy?

I particularly like this one because it looks like Globox is some kind of god and is controlling hovering spheres with random numbers on them.

These two are right after each other. The first one depicts a more hectic situation, though Globox has his back turned to the camera. The second one looks more open and tense, since the 1s on the Glue Bombs tell the observer exactly what'll happen next.

This hasn't got anything to do with the request, but I found it funny since it actually looks like Globox is farting, causing Razorbeard to swell up and explode.

I liked this picture because it looks like Globox has acquired some sort of magic ability and is using it to fend off the Glue Bomb.

The game was really kind to me as soon as I wanted to take the shots, because, as happened earlier, I had expected it to throw me either matches with no Globox, or ones where he has a different skin. Also, all the computers seemed to hate him, which caused him to be surrounded by Glue Bombs like all the time. I helped too, of course.

Sure thing! Bare in mind though that if it doesn't come later this week, it won't come until like a month from now since I will be quite inactive the next four weeks due to school trips, holiday, exams, etc. etc.
