You guys aren't doing it right anyway. You can clearly see that the text in my sig is orange.

Why do so many signatures have "Sig made by X" stamped on them anyway? I highly doubt anyone here would claim possession of somebody else's signature, so is there something else I'm missing?

Copyright. Sure it's unlikely someone here would do it but someone could take it, and claim big bucks for it. It's not that it's incredibly likely to happen but it's the fact that it's possible.

Well anyway, if you have basic knowledge of Photoshop, it's easy to remove the name and, if you're a real prick, replace it with your own.

Not exactly. Unless it's a right basic sig but if you look at the one I made for Ikke for example, there's a lot going on in the background and it would take a good number of weeks to get it off.

Either way would it really be worth that much effort to get maybe a quid off it?
