TINGS! for proofchecking

- Why am I even reading that?
TINGS
- Please be more specific.
Stan is giving away up to 250 Tings soon.
- Giving away? Bullbull!
Practically giving away. You basically can earn Tings by helping Stan with translating stuff.
- Now that sounds possible. But I don't know Polish, and...
Wait, you only need to know English better than Stan and his friends, which is totally possible.
- I see. But does that mean flooding the forum, or...
The project is going to land on Wikidot.
- The subject?
That Mafia-like game for which I didn't get enough players. We have decided that making all rules public will be needed anyway soon, and it may help confused people to understand what is that about.
- Let's get started!
Hold on. I must set up Wikidot, then there will be server transfer, then translation. That's where you come with your proofchecking.
- How many tings am I going to get?
For obvious reasons, this depends on amount of your work. Saying everything's all right or repeating others' clues wouldn't help you too much and you won't get more than 10 tings: finding resonable errors etc. may give you up to 250 tings, unless I'll get flushed by this - then it will get smaller.
- What if this is propaganda designed to infect me with rules of the game and there are no errors?
There will be errors/unconsistencies/unclear stuff for sure.
- I know Polish...
Good. Not knowing Polish may be useful though, as Polish-speaking users may read Polish pages first and so have an idea what is English text about.
- OK, deal!
Please use this topic as a confirmation page.
- Talking here or on the Wikidot?
As you wish. However talking on Wikidot would make some sense if you want to become permanent reader of the project.
- And who could be interested in it?
Everybody who has to deal with 12+ bored/tired people who are determined to focus on the game. This includes scout instructors, animators, makers of big and long parties etc.
- Questions!
Write those here.

I'll definitely help you with any needed translating. It would be my pleasure actually, just as long as it doesn't require me to participate in the mafia game.

I'd gladly help. Could you give the exact text to me? I appear to be one of the best students in ways of grammar, punctuation, and spelling at my school. Strange when considering that I am from a different country while others have been writing in English their whole life.
Kan i helpz u tranlat ur teXt?

Erm. Clicking the link I posted above leads you to the list of pages so far (not many, and most are short). The one longest and least error-proof is "Basic rules", which if you are too lazy to click two times happens to be
here. Copying this would be too long.

With exception of technical links and "Polish page is THERE" notice, yes, it is in English.

Funny how Google Translate messes up the English.

Sorry, I'm gonna need a lot more than 200 tings to motivate me to proofcheck. This is quite a bit of translating. I've done one page so far.
If you're wondering, I pretty much have to rewrite the whole thing because not a single sentence in there is grammatically correct.

I'm not asking you to make it correct, I'm asking is anything ununderstandable. Still have a 300 tings.

Oh, I'm sorry, I misunderstood.

Yes it's passably understandable.
Thanks!
