Is anyone here thinking in getting a Protector figure? If I ever find the Protector of Fire I will post pictures.
Re: Childhood toys
I found on local site Protector of Fire for 12 EUR.

Re: Childhood toys
I'm wanting to trry and get as many of the figures as I want in fact in my hunt for which nearby stores sell them, theo nly one that I can go and get them off the shelf off of is my local asda but even then as I said they only had half of thhe toa and nothing else, interestingly tesco direct seems to be selling all the figures as far as I can tell but only online, not in store, at least not at my local one. As for Argos, thhey have all the protectors and The lord of skull spiders however they're only stocking Tahu on the toa sside of things. I would look on an actual toy store but unfortunately I think the nearest toy's r us which ould probably be the best place to go is in Edinburgh if I remember rightly, and i can't be bothered with Edinburgh, too many bad memories.
The next wave of toys isn't coming out until august so we have plenty of time to get the sets we want.

Re: Childhood toys
There is a Toys R Us in Almada but the problem is that I only go there when me and my parents dine there in a restaurant of the mall. If I was going to buy something, they couldn't be there...

I like Toa Kopaku's mask the best. It's so mysterious how he has four eyes for his one right eye where all the others are slightly more distinctly humanoid. I've always wondered what was up with that.
I have a BIONICLE boardgame over at my parents' house. It's hell-a fun to play, too.

Re: Childhood toys
Here you are:

My personal comment:
When I first saw the mask at the package, I didn't really like its design... But let me tell: It suddenly looked so much better when I saw it in real life - Now I find it very cool
And what I also like: Under this ice sword there's a gun with a simple mechanic, where you can actually shoot small bricks 6 times... But I don't do that because they are so small that they can get lost easily ^^"
And yeah, the chain saw is also able to spin and another funny thing which I don't really understand, why, though: He can also even shoot his mask off his face XD
And I want to give him a name OwO

Hello little guy!
I'd forgotten how much I liked the Ice colour scheme. That's well nice.

Re: Childhood toys
Yeah, I saw a video of the Protector of Fire being built and it shoots 6 small pieces like projectiles, it is really cool. If I were to give a name to it it would be Vakama as a hommage to good old fire Turaga.

Re: Childhood toys
Oh I remember those little Bionical toys when they were still in my interest field! That was a very literal hot summer back in 2005.. or maybe 2006... Back then, me and my brother bought one set for each other and we had quite fun re/building in together... I believe all the parts are still scattered all around the house, I just can't find them anymore.
