That might be an idea, we've basically taken over the Childhood Toys thread.

I'm afraid you've mistaken me for a more nerdy person (hard to imagine, I know)
Nah, you're like the third least nerdy person on here :P

I remember that! That's the movie from the VHS! :O

Uuurrgh, the LEGO logo sound at the beginning creeps me the fuck out. Bleh bleh bleh. But thanks for finding that!
Well I am the least or second-least nerdy here, so...

So I'm nerdier than you? Pahaha yeah sure ;)

I used to think the opposite, but since the revelation of the Badcorner I have serious doubts about your non-nerdy credentials ;)

I can understand your confusion, but that sort of thing could happen to anyone in such desolate isolation. I have my nerdy side, but it usually isn't anywhere near that aggressive :P

I am literally a hermit for most of the day and have been so for 4 years, yet I have no Candcorner to show for it. You, sir, have no excuse. Face it, you're one of the dweebs now. I have been abandoned.

Well I must be a more social creature, as being forced into isolation has had more of a negative effect on me.

But Boustrophedon, nerdiness is not a negative effect :o

My pursuit of nostalgia is a negative effect, it means I'm not happy and so I'm trying to recapture some of the joy from my youthier youth

:( But does it make you happier? That's the important thing.

Though if you did give in to the nerdiness you too could have the sex appeal and stunning job prospects of our resident mangosteen!

I never saw that promotional video before. Am I the only one that really likes the LEGO logo animation of that time?

I like the animation, but not the audio.

Don't you mean 'artfully tousled cables'?

I like both. But then I'm a logo nerd.

Whatever, your words.

My dislike of the audio is more of an instinctive thing, design-wise it works fantastically with the visuals. It just puts my brain in panic mode. A bit like Deep Note.

Nah, I don't think I could get any nerdier than the occasional star wars, videogames and lego. Anything beyond that doesn't really interest me :P

In my case, that kind of synth-y music makes me feel quite good inside. Funny.
