I don't think anyone bothered to come up with statistics on this, but this definitely fails more often than not! Perhaps runners will practice that specific part a lot more now?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there's more levels where you can't get all the cages that easily.

This is true, you must revisit all four forest levels on PC while on PlayStation you can get all cages in the Swamps of Forgetfulness on the first playthrough.
