Hey forum people! I don't know if there are any artists here who participate but this year, I've started the Artfight !

For those who don't know what it is, it's an event in which two teams attack the other team with drawings, the team that makes the most stylish drawings wins.
The atmosphere is very nice, despite the competition side, everything is chill and very friendly as event.

I wish I had known about this beforehand. So, this is basically an opportunity to get others to draw your OCs?

The ArtFight reappears every year during the month of July if ever (yes, I should have mentioned it before but I didn't know if there was already a topic)

Yes and no, in the sense that if you're just waiting to get drawings of your OC or FC made by other people, you might be disappointed. The goal of the event is to draw to be drawn in return.

Each drawing you post earns points for your team. So, you have to draw a lot of OC/FC of the other team to get points for your team. Of course, the opponents can counter-attack (we speak here of "Revenge") and draw one of your OC etc..
You can draw a member of your team's OC/FC, here we talk about "Friendly Fire", it gives you points but much less than if it was on a OC/FC of the opponent team.

I see, thanks for the explanation. I don't think I have any proper OC with a name and color scheme.

I share with you my first impression of the Artfight after one week since the beginning of the event.

I'm really into it ! The first week is not quite finished, but I've already done a total of :
16 Attacks
1 Friendly Fire ( Draw a character from our camp )
8 defenses ! ( Drawings made by other people for you )

I feel that the motivation starts to drop, it's not easy to keep the rhythm but we can do it ! And it's ultra top for the moment !

There are some attacks that I enjoyed more (some less inpsired than others) but it's great.

And I confirm the golden rule of Artfight : YES ! YOU HAVE TO ATTACK IF YOU WANT TO HAVE DRAWINGS ! In one week I got 8 of them ! If you don't do anything and wait for your characters to be drawn, you can already stop the event.

I'll post my attacks later, if the site can hold 17 drawings xD

I think the limit of attachments here is 5 per post. You can also leave a link to an external site that has the images (I have seen that some people upload their attacks to DeviantArt).

Yeah, that would be neat.

You could also make four posts. Quadruple-posting is generally discouraged, but if it's to show interesting drawings then I'm sure we could allow it!

I think I'll post from time to time and not all at once - so that people have time to see what I have drawn

It's a fusion between Pearl and Sapphire ( for this version of Sodalite ) ~

Oh, I see, that makes sense. Fusion designs are probably one of the things I liked the most about the show.

I like the fairy Rayman character, it kind of reminds me of a design from Hyperdimension Neptunia.
