I've had an AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT with 8 GB VRAM, since mid-2020 when I finally gave up on NVIDIA. It works really well, I'm able to use Mesa drivers for graphics and proprietary (PRO) drivers for compute, even simultaneously (although I only discovered that this year). I was able to play the Solus Project and have Folding@Home running at the same time with no appreciable performance degradation
The only problem was that I replayed Beyond Good & Evil a couple of weeks ago, and there were a few ugly graphical artefacts in some cutscenes. I blame Mesa for that, there must have been some regression since I last played BG&E…

At the moment I have an RX 6700XT. I had a 5700XT, but my brother got a new RTX 3080 and gave me his 6700XT, with the plan being I'd sell my old one instead.

My primary desktop PC (which is over 4 years old now) has a GTX 1070 Ti. I got a modern PC for my parents this year and put a GT 1030 DDR5 there, as it was a very cheap card, that could still give it an edge over integrated graphics, in case anyone ever wants to play games on that machine.

Just replaced the fan on my ancient 9600GT. Now I can install it in the old Windows 7 desktop at my parents' place and use it without it making terrible noise.

The computer I'm currently using over here has a GTX 970. My primary one though is the one with an RX 6700 XT. As of now though for what I'm doing here it works fine. I also have my RX 5700 XT here but it's too big to fit in the computer.
