Hello there!

I need some help to know how to change colors in Rayman Designer.
I saw a nice video where the colors are based on pink and blue.

Any idea how to change the colors in the game in the same way, please?

Long time no see! As I recall, this is done by changing the palette in the PCX file. I've never attempted it myself, but I believe it can be done with IrfanView...

Any sort of image editor that can open PCX file's is sufficient, I use an old free Jasc Paint Shop Pro and it does the job, you can even do cool things like turn the saturation up/down and create things like a sepia or black and white mode like this...

I tried some stuff on my side, it indeed works by editing the palette of the PCX file from the world.
Now, we just need to guess the right editions to do in order to get this pinked Rayman.

By chance, it seems that colors are grouped in a smart way in the palette. For example, all colors related to blue tings and antitoons are grouped in a half-row in the palette. I managed to edit them, here's the result:

Let's try to build the palette used in the previous video, I'll try it on my side.

It's Bad Rayman's palette used for Rayman in that first video, you could take ascreenshot of DOSBOX and get the palette combinations from that; theoretically you could make Bad Rayman the same colour as Rayman.

For Rayman 1 (PC) you have up to 3 palettes that you can swap between which makes it a bit trickier but can lead to some interesting results.
