Hm, I hate the really shallow keyboards that make me feel as if I'm slamming them. It's one of the reasons I'm not too keen on the apple keyboard, always felt like I was applying excess force on it.

The hinge is the issue, not the keyboard. I've typed well on this keyboard for 6 years.

Ok, fair enough, I don't use the entirety of my fingers evenly, but I'm pretty sure I mentioned that I use more than just two.

You just have to be gentle.

I frequently use both laptops (Mac-like) and desktop keyboards, so I'm adept at both. Though I think I type a bit faster on desktops, simply because the keyboards are designed for functionality, not to be as compact as possible.

Well, from what I can garner, I think it might have to do with my laptop fan giving out. One thing I've come to dislike about laptops is how hard it is to access the fan for cleaning, didn't I show you the manual for my laptop last year?

Nah, especially not the two-finger-typing-Mastré bit either.


At least there are laptops that have easy access, but sadly the vast majority do not it seems. Also you did, you practically have to about disassemble the entire thing.

Mastré is cute. But it really does lower my WPM... that alt nonsense right!

Well you could just keep it as Mastre instead, using a regular 'e'.
