I was very excited when I saw the last trailer for Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake, it seems the series will also involve other timelines and feature other characters aside from the genderbend versions.

I’m really surprised it took this long for an adventure time topic to be made! I’ve never seen this “fionna and cake” thing but it certainly looks like it could be a good watch

There are episodes from the main AT series centered about Fionna and Cake, so I guess you could watch those before watching this new series .

Yes that’s quite a good idea, haven’t watched any adventure time for a good few years now

I may also re-watch some episodes and watch some YouTube videos about the series' lore, that way I can avoid being confused when watching this new series.
