Rayman Scepter of Leptys is an animated show I am currently working on.
The series will consist of 3 seasons, each one including 6 short episodes.
The focus of the show is to tell a story based on the Rayman universe, expand the characters and connect the previous instalments into a cohesive narration.
The First half of the first season will be dedicated to telling a story of Ly the Fairy. We will discover more about her past and her whereabouts after Rayman 2.
I will also introduce new characters with a big role in the story. We will discover more about the origins of the Glade of Dreams and how the magical world works.
The series will be 3d animated with voice acting and an original soundtrack.
I can't wait to share details about it in the future!
I will post trailers and progress videos on my channel and update all of you in this topic.

Here is another test render I did with Rayman and Ly. I want to make sure to get their chemistry and personalities right!

I really love your take on Rayman and Ly's design! It's both very unique and true to the originals, and it fits the characters extremely well!
I'm very curious to see to what kind of story this will lead to! :)

I think each episode will be at least few minutes long. I will try to tell the story in a cohesive way, but I also want to give the characters some time to develop. Right now I am working on the scripts for the first season, SilverLum is helping me with that.

Looks very good. I'm glad somebody is making it right this time I found the 1999 Rayman Cartoon a bit of a wasted opportunity.

Definitely giving it a watch. :D

Thanks. I agree that 1999 show didn't deliver with the small amout of screen time it had. I still like the locations and characters from that show though. Maybe some parts of it will return in this series aswell 8)

The show really was a missed opportunity. Lac Mac is the best thing to come out of it, of course. 8)

Unheard, that’s the best thing you’ve said since the invention of Swiced Bwvead.

HAHA Betina is technically supposed to fill the shoes of Ly as well. It’s interesting how they made a whole new cast

Yeah, come to think of it, Rayman 2 was missing the "cynical old grouch" character, wasn't it? :hap:

The closest to this would be Razorbeard probably

Little did we know, Cookie's ghost actually possessed Razorbeard after the great Swiced Bwvead war. This caused Razorbeard to take on the grumpy archetype
