Things you don't like about Rayman

I didn't like that Mini is an Apple exclusivity :/
Yes I agree with this entirely. I think the series just needs a major overhaul with plot that makes sense throughout all of the games.Said wrote: Sun Sep 10, 2023 6:27 pm if there is something i hate ALOT about the rayman franchise is probably the inconsistency,it very hard to tell what games are prequels or sequels,as every game is basically a new world,if the universe stayed consistence for at least one game i would love that,it feels like as if nothing really mattered in the world, since it keeps resetting to me its kinda like nothing in the game actually mattered, because in the next one its an entirely different thing, tho maybe its just a me thing idk
I personally miss the blonde. It looked really nice in the early games! Though orange is definitely striking and not too far from the norm that it's distracting.ItzalDrake wrote: Mon Sep 11, 2023 11:51 am It's a personal preference of mine but I do not like blonde hair, but they look good on Rayman![]()
This! I think it doesn't make much sense to constantly "reboot" the series. Just as I think there are characters from Rayman 2 that have been completely wasted, I think there are also interesting characters from Rayman 1 that have been all but forgotten. I don't mean to completely eliminate what was introduced in Origins or Legends, for example... I simply believe that these concepts could have been incorporated in some other way.SilverLum wrote: Mon Sep 11, 2023 2:01 pm I greatly dislike how wonderful characters are created and then immediately disregarded in the next installment, and this has been happening since Rayman 1. The audience grows an attachment to so many characters from the series but it's hard to feel like all the games are connected when one game Globox is married with hundreds of children and the next he's a flirty bachelor. Rayman really feels like the only consistency in the series as a whole (despite redesigns), but when the entire world changes around him every single game it's hard to imagine any sort of community at all with the characters of the Glade. I hope for future games they would stick to the same cast with few drastic changes so they can really build on those characters we love.
You definitely get it, Dave! We need a new and consistent take on the series that maintains everything we like. Obviously fresh ideas for each game would be great, but the overall identity really should remain the same. No one talks enough about all of the dropped concepts from the first game, either. We were going to sort of get a return to form in that regard with Phoenix Interactive's Rayman 4, which is why I preferred it much more to the Rayman 4 that was put in production. We were really going to see Picture City in 3D. Could you imagine?DaveRattlehead wrote: Mon Sep 11, 2023 7:44 pm

So many people feel the same way as you! I totally would like something that binds all 5 games together rather than the same characters.Said wrote: Sun Sep 10, 2023 6:27 pm if there is something i hate ALOT about the rayman franchise is probably the inconsistency,it very hard to tell what games are prequels or sequels,as every game is basically a new world,if the universe stayed consistence for at least one game i would love that,it feels like as if nothing really mattered in the world, since it keeps resetting to me its kinda like nothing in the game actually mattered, because in the next one its an entirely different thing, tho maybe its just a me thing idk
If that was true, everything would be different each time. Why, the succeeding Glade could be in some swamp somewhere and the hero would be some lazy-ass warrior named "Eaynan".....Dumbo TV wrote: Sun Sep 10, 2023 6:37 pm If the Glade of Dreams changes appearance with each game it is because it is literally a dream and dreams are never the same, but it is true that a new one who is aware of the preceding events would be welcome, Thé Phantom Show understood it but it's more nice references than canon events
Grovebox isn't the one for personal hygiene. He quickly discovered that wearing flowers hides the stench just fine!
Yes, like the princesses and nymphs!Greengoop wrote: Mon Sep 11, 2023 5:52 pm That is a really good point… just maybe some characters are better forgotten![]()
