In rayman 2, rayman states he has never heard of polokus before. Rayman origins set before all the others games involves rayman knowing this bubble dreamer so my guesses are the bubble dreamer and polokus rant the same person.

No, Origins is set after Rayman 3.

The thread’s not long; give it a read. It was specifically confirmed that the Bubble Dreamer is just Polokus under another name. This was a very notable occurence, as the developers almost never come right out and give us this sort of information; we usually have to piece things together ourselves.

No, Origins is set after Rayman 3.
When did it change from being actual 'Origins' to after Rayman 3? And then there was the opening cutscene which disappeared.

By the following reasons:
- Rayman appears to know the Teensies already, aswell Polokus himself, who is already awaken
- Rayman 2 references like helicopter bombs and flying ships
- Rayman possesses the Rayman 3 design
- Globox somehow isn't with a coward personality

And I think it was confirmed in an interview.

Plus I'm sure the buccaneer exploded above Mystique Pique, wich is how the Magician obtained all that tech to build moody clouds.
And just like the buccaneer, it too falls apart while rayman is exploring it.

The Buccaneer exploded above an ocean, not a mountain.

really? It was hard to tell, it really just blew up over a spinning void of clouds and darkness, making it hard to make out.

It was in the ocean. It was clear to see it was the ocean, plus:
- In the Isle of Doors, the Crow's Nest is marked in the sea (in the Hall of Doors it was also schematically placed in the stormy sea), side to a giant Razorbeard statue. Meanwhile, you also have the official Rayman 2: The Great Escape's map:
- In Rayman Revolution, Rayman takes a Flying Shell and flies in the horizon of the sea, meaning he is going to an ocean part

I like the Bubble Dreamer more but Polokus has very relaxing music.

I wonder was Polokus/Bubble Dreamer going to be in the R4 prototype?

I doubt it he didnt appear in Rayman 3 so i assumed he went back to sleep

but with him in origins its a possibility
(not that he did anything or impacted severely in origins anyway)

I'm just going to assume not since Jano isn't technically Polokus - rather an offspring from his dreams, like the rest of reality.

It isn't known at all what happened with Polokus during Rayman 3 events. Even so, it was not necessary to see the character again since the Hoodlums invasion wasn't as grave and near apocalyptical like the Robo-Pirates one.

From what I can extrapolate, it appears Gamegirl here believes that there are two glades, the inhabitants of whom are unaware of the other glade. She also notes a potential conflict between these two glades as "badass."
I disagree, by the way.

How many times will I have to destroy this embarrassing fan-theory that the Rayman games take place in different universes? After Origins, I really thought we were over this. It’s as insidious and pervasive as the Lernaean Hydra. Each time I cut off one of its heads, it grows another two. It is the bane of my life.
