rayla is the childhood friend of rayman, shes a limbless feminine being carrying a polite and free spirited personality, but she can often become short tempered and impulsive towards rayman when it comes to his suspicious pervy behavior. just a traditional tsundere character!
rayla shares similar abilities with rayman as she can fly using her twintails as wings (just like cream using her rabbit ears to fly in the sonic series) and can use the telescopic fist too. maybe she and rayman would be the dual protagonists in rayman 4?

i created rayla by accident in 2012 when i was introduced to raving rabbids 2, i was 8 at that time. my friend who was a year older than me used to have a full version of that game for pc with all 16 minigames (each disc had 4 minigames) while i had disc 1 (the blue disc) and on our meeting we would play our fav minigames like dial r for rabbid, the rolling stone, office...
one day i attempted drawing rayman on one of my notebooks but turned out with twintails, a collar dress with a ring on it and mary jane shoes. so my friend called it "raygirl" and while i drew my attempt on rayman losing in a laundry minigame, floating away in despair, she would say that the "raygirl" is sleeping in the water.... i probably lost those drawings when i had my workspace cleaned up. big L. also forgot how my "raygirl" looked like and yet, i recreated the character and voila - its rayla!!

Looks like a genderbent Rayman, very cool!

on february 2024 i made a rayman kisekae data which has fkiss features like snap to, changeable hair and a combat fatigue palette. however the configuration file has some mistakes i left... oh well!
im working on a remake of the rayman kiss to be released sometime, with moar clothes and costumes...

I’m confused on what a KiSS doll is? Is it some sort of online doll you accessorise?

kiss stands for kisekae set system which is ofc a free dressup doll software thing! there are truecolor and pixel art stuff too~

What a cool and well thought out design! I guess you could use strings for a floppy effect or some kind of flexible wire to give a firmer impression.

they would be thick floppy strings, wires wont do as theyre bendable and one would pop out of the place where it belonged like with one of my plushies that had wires lol
