Record Day Special - Video Game Speed Trivia Quiz!

OK, just for record day!
Video game trivia quiz speed-thread!
Rules:
- Host will ask any question about any video game. The questions better be answerable and searchable!
- Anyone can answer any time.
- Searching the web or any other material is allowed and encouraged! The goal is to get it going fast.
- Once a correct answer is given, the host will ask the next question.
- No point tallies are to be kept until record day is over.
- If the host has not been active in 15 minutes - someone else can and should become the host. This rule is intended to keep things going.
- Please keep the questions numbered (in case someone wants to count the points at the end of the day).
I will start, but someone will have to continue, because I will be leaving for almost the entire day in just 30 minutes LOOOOOL.

Do you mean Donkey Kong? I understand he didn't have his name at first, but definitely got it at some point in the game's lifecycle.

Ehh, I’m pretty sure it is Mario bros, releasing 2 years prior to the renowned SMB
