Hello!

Im very new to speed running, i have been wanting to speedrun for a while.

So my question is, which game is easiest to speed run? Or is at least beginner level.

Are there also guides that i can note down?

Any and all help is useful!

Depends on what kinds of platformers your better at. If you're better at 3d platformers, then Rayman 2 and 3 will be easier. If you're better at 2d platformers, than Rayman 1 and the Ubiart games will be easier.

Im pretty good at 2D platformers!

I'd recommend Rayman Origins to start then, as its movment is easier to get good at than Legends, can't speak for Rayman 1 as I've only played it once, and because im biased (I speedrun it myself :D).

Ok... so how many times should i play through the game? I havent finished it yet,,,

I'd beat the game once at least, then focus on practicing levels and learning the routes. Not sure what the best way of practicing full game runs is tho, I do IL's. :|

Rayman Jungle run, Fiesta run, Adventures and Mini are easiest to speedrun since they are auto runners. If we’re talking actual games, probably legends or origins

Or I can suggest Rayman Revolution: with an Any% world record of 10m 34s, you won't waste a lot of time when restarting.

Did they use any massive skips in that run? I’m gonna watch it later I think

I don't have a PS2.. and my pc isnt strong enough to play it..

Why don’t you get a PS2 sometime then?
